Day-night Change Lever (wrong Way Round In Manual)

Recommended Posts

p.80 of owner's manual

INSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR

My mirror day-night change lever is diagram B but I'm sure the labelling is the wrong way round?

1 should be Night

2 should be Day

In Day position the lever should be vertical and at Night lever ought to be horizontal -- whereby the image is pointed towards the rear seats, reducing the glare of the headlights of vehicles behind you?

When driving at night, PUSH the lever AWAY FROM you...

...PULL the day- night change lever BACKWARD (daylight driving position).

I think I am right here, it can be set to both ways.

Move the mirror and you can set it by tilting to be day or night mode......

when you tilt it either up to the roof then push forward on the lever for daytime

or angle it down to look a the rear seat and pull back and vise-versa :D

To swap the direction, take a firm hold of the mirror and move the lever with the view fixed..... and it is reversed !

In other words the mirror can be set to go day forwards night back, or the reverse.
