Personally brand names are the ones to go for in home electronics I have always found (to my cost).

With 'no-name' brands after a while I have always wished I'd waited till I could have bought something better.

It is only my opinion matey, (it is your money after all).

Good luck in your search.

Hi

I had a Vistron 32" and was going to use it in the bedroom, but as I bought a Panasonic 52" (Full HD) plasma for down stairs I put our old 42" in there instead. I can tell you the picture was ok on the Vistron, but it was a very cheaply made unit with a very poor remote, I sold the Vistron on eBay a month later and had an email from the person who bought it 3 weeks later saying it would not hold its stations in tune, and wanted the warrenty details from where I bought it from. I have sinse seen on the web this is a common fault on them.

In the end as with the other guys above go for a brand name, they look better and in general will last longer as well.

Oh ands as for my new Panasonic, If you want a TV that will amaze you I can without a doubt recomend them the picture is fantastic, (even the wife is impressed) ;)

Cheers

Dazza
