Hi All,

I bought a set of from 3G Disks with Mintex Extreme pads for my GS300 MKII last year. I'm now about to fit them, but I have misplaced the instruction booklet which explains the bedding in procedure.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the procedure is?, so that I can ensure I don't them.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

i have this brake set-up

bedding in as booklert suggests.

braking from 30 to stop should be easing on and off brakes 2-3times

braking from 60 to stop should be 4-6times.

i did the best that i could to this and brakes seems fine, even in bedding in time the brakes felt nice and sharp, have had them fitted to my car for 6/8months and very happy with them although a little more dust than standard mintex pads.

not screechy :winky:

I was also told that when brakeing from motorway speeds and coming to a stand still dont keep your foot on the brake pedal always use the hand brake stops the brakes from getting excess heat and glazeing..

Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated. I'm fitting them next week. Shame they will create more brake dust, as current levels on OEM brakes already seem excessive, particularly on the fronts.

Thanks
