Avatar Help. Pretty Please :)

Hey guys,

I'm sorry if I'm being blonde, but I wanted to change my avatar cause it's been the same for over a year now, and as Wozza pointed out at JAE, my hair is a little darker now. Lol.

Well, I went onto the change avatar settings and uploaded the new pic, then the page refreshed and my new pic was there. But when I post stuff now it shows my old pic but squashed up.

I tried doing it again but no joy. I'm stumped. Can anybody help?

thats wieird, have you tried deleting all your avaters and then adding one

Well the one I can see looks fine, so I guess it's been fixed :)

As Parthiban said it looks like it's showing up fine now. If it still looks funny for you then it might be some sort of caching issue, e.g. your computer or ISP is caching (storing) an old version, or something like that. If you try pressing Ctrl-F5 (if you're running Internet Explorer on a PC) then it will refresh everything and that might fix it.

Well I tried to get them both the same. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Was good to catch up with you in the end - sorry I missed you to say goodbye - we were in a rush to get out whilst the road was still there! hahaha.

Both your avatar pic and profile pics are the same for me, you're on a green chair with glasses. So I think you've done it right, if people are seeing anything different then it's probably just a short-term caching issue (i.e. the Internet will catch up soon !).

I couldn't seem to upload an avatar, it kept telling me it was too big even when it wasn't. But when I uploaded one to a photo hosting website (there are loads out there, I use Photobucket), and put a link into it (in the "Enter a URL to an online avatar image" box) then it worked.

Same problem. Tried Photobucket but then says either wrong type of file or wrong url.I'll keep trying though

Use the "Direct Link" from Photobucket when you copy and paste the URL. If you try to use the "Email & IM" link (at the top under your photos in PB, above "Direct Link") then it won't work.

I think it was the caching thing cause I haven't done anything else and it has corrected by itself.

Your ice system was wicked. Loved the base through the seat ;) the vocals were so clear too. Very rare to get both.

All you need now is some bump n grind hip hop and you'll be well away! Hehe.

The awards interupted, I was just getting to the interesting music, and didn't get the chance to show the DVD playing through the screen etc.
