don't want to sound a baboons botty mate, but have you thought about just buying a aftermarket one? It's likely to cost the same :), oh and don't get a beesting one as I had one and reception was shocking resorted back to the r/c style standard one ;)

i had a shark fin on top of mine- reception wasnt as good as OE item but it looked better :D

I have one that I was going to offer you. (And I can sell as I'm Golden!)

But, wiring my radio is one of those things I'm meaning to get round to (like fitting front components and HIDs!) so have no idea how good the reception is on my bee stinger!
