Just got a call back from the GOLD LOC insurance scheme, and they've informed me that there'll be no increase in my premium with the addition of the Turbo Kit... :yahoo::hehe::yahoo:

:backofnet:

Having said that, my excess is huge anyway with my import, so I'm sure that helped! :whistling: B)

Another way being a LOC GOLD member has saved me PLENTY moolah. Kerching!!! :P Seriously, you non-goldies don't know what you're missing!

I've spoken to Mark @ TDI and by mid-summer I should be a Turbo Nutter..... wheeee....!!! I'm sticking with the HKS kit, as it'll mean I don't need to mess around with much else on the internal front, whilst giving me the boost I need.... my 0-30mph times are gunna be unbeaten!

270+ bhp, here I come... B) :P :nuke:

Well you never know Kavey, I might not be far behind. It looks like I've found another nice little Altezza to buy! This time a proper RS200, Year 2000, 6 speed manual!! In silver as well...!

Now what was that someone said about Blitz at 350bhp.....? :yahoo:

Nice one Jon. Gimme a :phone: if u need any advice when u go see it ;)

Yeah - the Blitz would have been nice, but required a major engine rebuild and cost half the value of my car!!!

The GReddy Gordon mentioned is another option, but I'm happy with the HKS stuff as being pretty tried and tested, and modest enough pricewise vs performance.... :whistling:

Great news Kav...... can't wait for you to take me for a spin at one of the future meets..... ;)

It's all happening...

I'm back from the US on 18th May, and there is a meet around 25th if I remember correctly somewhere around Bracknell. Car will have rear end sorted after Feb shunt (boy that's taken ages to get through), and I'll have brought some bits back from the US, so deffo up for that meet. :yahoo:

You could help me fit my black/chrome headlights :) Oh hang on I just read the other thread

so where we gonna have a race............. ;)

hehe.... when u come back to get yours, we'll have to punt over to a track day somewhere, for a brisk challenging cruise, not a race, ahem :whistling:

Either that or an Autobahn ;)

I'd bet simonskippy's beast must be ranking up there as one of the quickest 1GFE-based cars actually... :whistling:

Thanks Kav, if it weren't for your advice i would of ended up with an imported altezza with the same engine i got now and none of the luxuries!

I'll keep you posted.
