just found this on the bay....

just wanted to know if anyone has one of these and would you recommend it or not, its not bad for the price and it'll be painted already, really wanted a trd one but can not find it anywhere for a reasonable price (lexus dealerships want 260 or something ridiculous and it will just be primed)

I assume the OP meant TTE one considering the one in the eBay link is almost identical to it :)

That TTE style one is really nice IMHO - if I didn't have the hoop one on mine I'd have one like that!

TRD also did the hoop spoiler like Matt used to have on the monster - Tom Cooper has one of those too - look really nice :)

those spoilers are nice but i find them a bit 'big' sespecially the hoop one.

i like the smaller bmw style one.

@lex28 whats the paint job like? or did u get the unpainted one?

also is it of decent quality at all?

what a rip off that first link that was posted. these go for around the £20 mark. well thats what i paid for mine. a tenner on paint and a couple of hours to spray it. please dont pay that amount for it if you decide to get one!!

ive had a look for a lexus size one but the cheapest i could find was these. they have gone up in price but still not as expensive as the one you posted.

you can get them cheaper i know you can. i paid just over £20 for mine. they use the same material for all the different cars just cut to different lengths. do some homework and you could buy it for a different make that will fit exactly the same. there really bendy so theres no problems about the shape fitting!!

i like the price of that 1 a lot more! i will search harder, the only reason i was even considering the expensive 1 was cos it was already painted. thanks 4 your help all!

to be honest a bodyshop woouldnt charge that much to spray it even if you didnt want to do that!

just asked the body shop guy next to my mechanic,he said 15-20 max, maybe even less, he wants to see it before he gives me a certain price.

thats not bad at all, near enough half the price they wanted for a sprayed one!

1)got the 1 sorted vti showed me, should arrive soon

2)the bodyshop guy said hes got some paint left over for my car from a recent scuff i had that he resprayed, so he'll do it for free!

That's a proper result from the bodyshop there, not often you get something for free :)
