I swear by the Draytek Vigor range of modems and routers - built in switch, firewall, modem and wireless if you want. Set up in 5 mins and very reliable.

Use them at work and I've got one at home, never had any problems.

Its cost effective with a l0ot tof the features the vigour has but without the cost. (bout half the price). Have a cheap old Zoom ADSL Router/Modem/Firewall thingy from that horrible company that starts with PC W.....

Cheap as chips, very easy to set up and hasn't crashed yet, have it plugged into a switch via cross-over cable and use as DHCP server for the house £99.00 well spent....
