Hi there folks.

I have this screeching-whistling noise coming from the front left wheel . It slowly fades the faster I go. And when I start to brake it stops!!! Its a fairy constant problem.

Hope somebody can shed some light on this.

Thanks.

I also have this noise not the brake pads or caliper?

Took the front drivers side wheel off, disc, caliper got a tin of spray silicone grease and sprayed some into

where the wheel bearing is.

Put everything back and took it for a drive the nosie stopped!

Thing is after the grease has worn away (after some time ) the noise comes back :crybaby:

So i have put noise down to a dry wheel bearing which is very expensive at lexus to have done!

I hope this helps?

Might be a wheel bearing, I had mine done a while back £160 all in (not at Lexus) as long as the garage have a press then you can't really go wrong, only really needs the one that's gone doing aswell.

Thanks me'duck that gives me an idea of cost (Yes we do call people me'duck round here!)
