I've been trying to search the site for replacement front blades and have read a few good posts about the Bosch aerotwin blades. Has anyone bought these and been pleased with them If so, where do I get them and what size(s) do I need ? Are these considered the best or can anyone suggest better?

Alan

I had problems with the aerotwins myself, they were really noisy on my car but not many others have complained of the same problem.

Replaced them with PIAA silicone blades which are fantastic, but quite pricey......

The originals have been quite good and have lasted nearly five years. I've heard of silicone ones and unless they were hideously expensive I'd give them a try. Where would I get them though?

Type into google for PIAA wipers...it should come up with lots of companys selling them..

here you go...

I've had the Bosch aero ones for about two years they are Ok except for a slight noise as they change direction when vertical, I've just bought some flat ones from Costco made by Good Year at nearly £14 a pair never seen them before but I'll give them a try.

Thanks for that. I tried the link and got to Lexus RX but they only list a part for the passenger's side. Haven't checked yet but I presume they're not equal sizes?

Finally someone else who had the same problem as me, I hated that "thud" on the screen everytime the wiper changed direction so had to get rid.

from what i've noticed, just get them from lexus b'cos most others squeal all the time and it drives you insane

I'd second that, as Lexus will sell you (and fit for free if you're nice!) just the blade, for less than a tenner a side. I stupidly bought some Bosch by Mail Order, which were great on previous (German) cars, only to find they didn't fit the Lexus - the clip fitting didn't match at all. So I still have the original Toyota/Lexus arms with new blades, and cheaper too.
