Is200 Front Ball Joint Wear ?

hi i have a 2001 is200 and when i was checking it over today i have found a slight bit of play in the front lower ball joints and speaking to a friend whos a mot tester he sead there ment to have slight movement in the is200 is this tru ?? many thanks

nope mate not ment to have any movement on the balljoints i've just replaced mine due to this!

i think i'll get mine checked out very common problems on lexus my last is200 has to get both side's changed

Today had both replaced at a cost of £159.60

then had full geometry set up at an affiliate of WIM for £94

AND

need 2 new rear tyres, bl=bulge, br=nail :(

nice earner for the garages today lol

Did both mine last year. Common as on most FR cars so don't feel it's just a Lexus/Altezza thing. Cost me NZ$120(£55) for the pair & a box of beer for my mate to fit them. Took him about 20mins to do both.
