Metal Worker Needed

The box-section brace should not be difficult, it's the circular bits at either end that may prove to be difficult to make. Can yo give some dimensions? Particularly the outside diameter, inside diameter and thickness of material for circular section. Did you design this as a new part, or is it a part of your car that has broken? Where will it fit and what function will it do? -that is important information for performance, safety and MOT.

I have spoken to Spec-R on a number of occasions this year to have custom work done and they have seemed totally uninterested..... They seem to prefer to stick to Cossies, Evos and Scoobies....

Zee I spoke to them over the phone. Don't know what they are like as I have not yet been down to their workshop. Basically they told me whatever I want done all I had to do was to go down there for them to measure up and they could custom make whatever I needed i.e. strutbraces, covers, induction kits, etc...

Anyhow we'll just have to go down there and see.

Its not a replacement part.. its a new part to stiffen the front end I have looked for a part on the net but unable to find one for my model , as far as i know its not a part that is on the M.O.T

although i could be proved wrong in saying that. i will take some measurements when i get time.... I was just putting the feelers out to see if anybody could help. Is you reply an indication that you would be able to do this?

many thanks

Chances are that I can make this up for you - whether or not depends on the exact dimensions and material specs. Are you going to JAE with the car - we can discuss the details there?
