Hello and welcome to the LOC.

If the EML and TCL are on there has to be stored codes present.

Not all FCRs (Fault Code Readers) are compatible with Lexus vehicles so it may be worth trying again with a different one.

You could also try disconnecting the Battery for 10 minutes to see if the system resets but make sure you have any radio or alarm codes in case you need to reprogram these after reconnection.

pop into your local Toyota garage and they might read ECU for free if you ask nicely will save you the hassle of tryna second guess what might be wrong. might either be a sensor or fuse as the car is still drivable but best to check...

Battery kept going dead because of the alternator and am wondering if this has anything to do with it! the car itself seem fine and everything works but these lights are now starting to ***** me off as there is definately nowt wrong! what do i do? do i take it to lexus and pay£65 plus labor and parts or do i just put up with it? just means i cant turn traction control on or off!!! I'm a little confused here, in your original post you said you had replaced the alternator and then the problems started but in a later post you said the Battery kept going dead because of the alternator, so has the alternator been replaced or not?

There have been cases where an alternator on its way out causes all sorts of weird and wonderful faults with a car's electrical and electronic systems as they are venerable to spikes and surges on the power lines.
