Hi GUYS!!!

I know, i've already formulate this question but i DEFINITELY want to know how is the average consuption for an original IS200!

Please be honest....

(i'don't want to buy the "usual" golf TDI)

Commuting on a busy M4 I get 26-28 mpg. Hammering around town low 20s, long distance I've got 31.

again, this will be in mpg but throughout a tank I get about 26/27 if have a bit of a play every now and then, or about 29-31 of more motorway and a bit more causious.

I use only Shell Optimax, which has improved consumption about 7%

I only ever got about 24-25mpg with Optimax, but then I suppose I do drive it quite hard. ;)

I only get just over 20 mpg. But it's an Auto.

Anyway, not bad site, I try not too cane it too much as tyres are too much - so is fuel come to think of it.

Usually do so when about to fill up - or someone cuts me up or something.

29 mpg driving around town and suffolk. Bear in mind there was still 7 litres in the tank when I filled it up. (450 miles on a tank)

Have had 35mpg on a ipswich-rochdale-ipswich trip before now.

This is without optimax!

i'm happy to get over 300 miles on a tank.

I used to average around 23mpg, combination of town and motorway driving.

ps got 680 miles from one tank on my new car when I filled up on tuesday.

Average 350 miles per tank sometimes as low as 330 or high as 400, depending on how much I have the air con on. Also seem to get much better milage on motorways, pootling round town she just drinks petrol.

I think we can all agree. We didn’t by the 200 for it's amazing fuel efficiency.

I like so much the style of this car i'll buy it even if it do 2-3 km/l :duh:

Even if it has a 3 cilinder 750 cc engine :D

hey now come on, thats going too far!

I get about 400 miles between fill ups and usually put in about 62-64 litres each time, so have some left.

Yesturday drove a couple of days with fuel light on, got about 455 miles then bottled it. Just as well as put in 68 litres!!

I always fill tank to top so I just take the mileage driven and work out economy by how much I have had to fill it up by. That way you can see what you have actually used.

must say i have noticed my mpg has gone down in the last three weeks

i know there is the obvious addition, but i seem to be driving harder with it??

i guess its a case of : if you got it, use it

I get between 10 and 11 km/l but that's nearly all motorway cruise - hardly any round town mileage.

All my driving is without any motorway driving, with air con on and its an auto car and Im lucky to get 280 miles out of a full tank (£50 ish) of optimax
