Having missed out on MJM444's lovely car this week, I thought I'd stick a 'Want' hint in here.

Hope this doesn't break any house rules?

If there are any low mile cars left, that is!

Not as interested in 90K+ ones....yet.

And, much as I liked Citroen's suspension, I'm not convinced about the 430.

So, if there ARE any folk with lovely cosseted cars just waiting for an equivalent owner, get in touch?

Thanks.

Clearly, it is up to you do define the parameters of your search. But I don't understand the preoccupation with low mileage with these older cars. The major lesson I learnt when buying mine (which had around 156k on the clock) was to buy on condition not mileage. These cars go on and on providing they have been serviced and maintained well. Good luck with your search

I can understand what you say about maintanence and TLC but if you had seen that 18k Mark 4 I got last year you would honestly have believed it had just come from the factory not the showroom and I can tell you it gives me a warm glow every time I look at it never mind drive it.The first LS400 I owned for 16 years and that had 50k on it when I bought it .When it went north last year to its new owner it had 190k but still felt good but nothing like as good as my latest.

Stick to the Task Chris one will turn up.

Don't dismiss a 430 if you get o non premium car they have springs not air suspension and you are more likely to find one with low miles if that is important.

Mileage wouldn't bother me too much if the condition and history was good
