Advice On Dhp Model Ls400

Recommended Posts

I think in reality you need to see a car in the metal to even consider a valuation, one man's mint is anothers mediocre.

Obviously at this age it won't be in Glass's guide and again are we talking private or dealer sale?

Ball park figure in my book would be £1600.00 - £2500.00.

You also have to consider the present market and indded what a buyer is prepared to pay.

I've seen it, the person who owns it goes to an antiques show next to where I work, I speak to him on a regular basis, the only thing I would say is wrong with it is one of the alloys has a very minor scrape, apart from that, the car is mint, it's very clean for its age, full history and mot's to back up the mileage, but he has said he's finding it difficult to sell it, but he needs an estate car

i have a v reg ls400 with dhp, different wheels, springs and thicker anti sway bar on the back, dhp should be writen near the front of your service book and can also be confirmed by lexus, car is lower to the ground and handles better(better grip through bends),ride is firmer then a standard ls400 but still very comfortable and smooth, jimmy
