right an update, did the bridging and there was a spark and now my headlights are non existant, u get full beam and dip together when u pull the stick towards you, but nothing when u just want dip, so I drove home just now on fogs, not the happiest bunt. any thoughts?

Sorry to hear of your problem, the wiring i quoted above was straight out of manual. Have you checked fuses in both footwells and the ones under bonnet?

Hey Ian, took my car to the garage, and the are baffeled, there's no power coming to the fuses but when we provide power to all 4 head light fuses and the relay plug bingo the lights come on, but nothing else. so im taking it to a lexus tec on Friday. more flippin money.
