Cleaning F Sport Alloys

Recommended Posts

Sorry guys the picture just doesn't do it justice! It looked superb today In the sunshine. It's a fantastic colour. Really suits the shape of the car.

:)Looks fantastic in the blue. When choosing what colour to order I saw every colour in the flesh bar the blue. I went for the white but if Id seen the blue I would have really struggled to make my mind up between the 2.

I was torn between the white and the ultra blue. I do a lot of miles and I just thought the white would be harder to keep clean. I've spent 2 hours this afternoon cleaning the car and applying wolf shine and seal followed by wolfs hard body. The car looks great now!

I buy WR40 in 5Ltr lots as it has so many uses - I use it on my motorcycle wheels and have done since the white FZR wheels in the '90's so why not on the F Sport - good call!

Isnt it difficult to keep it off the brakes? bloody risky isnt it?

Not if you spray it on your cloth first duh

Well try doing your ISF wheels with a rag and wd40 and tell me how long it takes to do every single spoke including the insides. Im guessing 20 minutes a wheel.

I do them every week matey .takes me 5 mins a wheel .u wanna come and watch me some day .your very welcome .do you know how long 20 mins is

Yes I do funnily enough, but they wont exactly fit between the spokes!

Lol

Talking about spokes, nasty gash on the alloy wheel today!

Oh no did you kerb it

Yup, was talking on the phone via car speakers, wasnt paying attention and tried to do a full turn with a sandwich in one hand. Kerbed the wheel all the way around. Hope they can fix it

Rayaans,

The chap who has repaired mine twice has done a fantastic job, as I've posted here. I'm in Surrey, he's mobile but not sure where abouts you are?

Yorkshire near Leeds, its probably too far for him. Ill see what the dealer says when I go down. Theyre doing one wheel free of charge as they messed it up the first time.
