Mp3 Tag Editing Programs

Can anyone recommend a decent program for creatinf/editing IDv1 tags..

Also whilst im here, i'll tellyou why im looking, i have the Dension Mp3 hard disk unit and after ive ripped an album and stuck it on the drive, it plays them alphabetical order it seems, certainly not in track order, i did sort the files into track order but to no avail, so i was wondering if theres something i can do with the Tag's..

I use a program called 123Tag. Its not the most intuitive, and translated (poorly) from Italian, but does the job well and is freeware, so no annoying registration reminders. You can download it from tucows.

You might want to try re-ripping but put the track number at the beginning of the file name.

The Dension machine plays in file name order (or random if you've set it up that way)

Ive interested in a mp3 player for my IS200.

Is the dension easy to install? Also does it just plug into to back of my existing Hifi or do I need to change the whole thing?

yeh it looks like im gona have to put in the track number manually then..

Froomer, the Dension unit is quit straight forward to install

simply fix the hard disk somewhere (boot)

fix the satelite head unit up front somewhere.

plug the dension RCA's into the RCA input of your aftermarket stereo and hey presto sorted.

My unit had to go via an FM modulater as i couldnt remove the stock head unit cause of the sat nav..
