Dunlop sp sport 270 at £108 from Tyreleader and £111 from Oponeo both on-line and includes delivery. Seems like a cracking price to me if anyone is looking.

I'm not a great fan of Dunlop - whenever I used to price up tyres, they were always the cheapest, which worried me.

I also have a motorbike and there is an ongoing issue with the Dunlop tyres they fit to the new version of my bike, with some of them lasting less than 2,000 miles before needing replacement. Now, on bikes, tyres don't last much beyond 15,000 miles but 2,000 is BAD.

I replaced all 4 tyres earlier this year with General Grabber GTs (they're made by Continental) for £540 fitted. Seem to be fine but I'm no expert...

I'm on my second set of Dunlop and very pleased with them. I found them much quieter and more comfortable than the set of Hancook the first owner had fitted.

I don't remember them being cheaper than the competition though... more like mid range. My usual tyre provider (Micheldever Tyres in Hampshire) usually beat the competition on price, and currently have the SP270 at £169.74 fitted... so your deal is pretty attactive!

That's what I thought.Local garage £10 each to fit puts them around £120 on the car.

I would have no reason not to choose Dunlop but each to their own.

Has any found dunlop sp sports to be noisy, the only reason i ask is i have potenza's on my front and also on the rear nearside, but the rear offside has a dunlop. And im getting a noise which i thought could be the start of a wheel bearing, but its different noise on different types of surfaces, and it sounds like its coming from the rear offside that has the dunlop.
