Hi guys,

I e-mailed the company regarding your question about the turbo systems and this was the reply:-

The Kit for the IS200 is made for the UK Version...

If you guys buy 5 I can take an additional $100 off each kit - 10 and I'll take $200... Our prices are already close to wholesale.

Let me know if you guys have any other questions.

It's a seriously good price, and if it's developed for the UK car, as they say, then you should have no worries about it fitting.

Even paying all import duties and VAT etc it still works out a serious amount of ££££ less than you'd pay for a turbo install elsewhere. (costing over £10K* *Estimated)

And if they claim it produces 238BHP that's more than the TTE compressor (TTE Compressor = 202BHP)

The only question is why would a company in the States develop a turbo for a RHD 1G-FE engine?

Unless it was originally developed in Japan/UK/Australia, and this http://www.turbo-kits.com company are importing it.

Or possibly it WAS developed in the States, and http://www.turbo-kits.com expect to export it to Japan/UK/Australia.

Just my opinion, but certainly worth investigating.

I was ready to buy the kit, but 1, they have not got back to me, 2, I have search for feedback over the net, and 3, take a look at the project car, a Honda Prelude, thats fine, but the pics are just the car, no engine pics!

Im thinking its a fraudplace, pay money, than BOOM, the dissapear! Look at other kits, like Civic, Sentra etc, they are exactly the same specs!

Anywyas, a T25 is too small!

For the turbo question: I posted something in "TURBO" topic.

and for map unit:

One of the problems ever is: How the hell can I do, that this car gets more fuel for correct explosion stroke after a turbo conversion??

Solution 1: You try to get 6 bigger injectors, fit an AFC and adjust air fuel ratio.

Solution 2 (like that): you get 2 additional injectors and a map unit (black box)

The 2 injectors get mounted onto the air inlet with an adapter and connected to that black box.

This black box adjustes ONLY!! the 2 injectors.

The stock 6 injectors are still connected to the stock ECU.

So every stock electronic controlled stuff keeps untouched and

unmodified.

The added black box knows how much fuel it has to give to the additional 2 injectors to make a correct burning process in the engine block (or how to make Lambda=1). :winky:

N-Ice Greetings,
