4 Yr/40K Service

Recommended Posts

Hi all, not been on the forum for a while.

Been getting quotes for my 2011 ISF for the 4yr/40k service, all have been quoting £545 which seems quite expensive for what it is.

Anyone had theirs done recently?

Cheers.

I bought a 2 year plan from Lexus Chester covering 40 and 50k in March 2013. It cost me £742.66, which I recall calculating was a worthwhile amount cheaper than the buying two separately. It also included an MOT.

The invoice for my 40k service in Mar 2014 showed a price of £379.42, but showed zero VAT. I infer that the full price would therefore have been £455.30

Hi Alan

Had my 40K service done in October last year for £412 inc VAT. Originally quoted £545 by Tunbridge Wells but ended up taking it to Canterbury as they did it cheaper and gave me another 15% off as a LOC member. Even dropped me and the mrs in town for lunch and then came and got us when all done.

Much better service and price then the Tunbridge Wells dealer even though it was 40 mins further.

Good luck with your negotiations!!

Speak to Gino at Lexus Stockport. He's always up for a deal and loves the ISF.

Spoke to Asa but unfortunately they're not willing to offer me a discount, guess their not interested in taking my £400+ Hard earned.

Just had some quotes back from Lexus Wolverhampton for £445 for the 4yr service and £40 for MOT and Lexus Stoke £450, £30 for MOT for as long as i own the car. Just got to decide which i should go for now.

Also does the Auto tramsmission fluid get replaced on the 4yr/40,000 service, Stoke said yes but Wolverhampton said no.

So just done some ringing around to get prices on a 4yr service for my car.

Lexus Croydon (JEMCA):

Intermediate Service - £295

Full Service - £545

Lexus Battersea (INCHCAPIE):

Full Service - £445

Toyota Croydon (JEMCA):

Intermediate Service - £295

Full Service - £545

Can someone explain what service i need for 4yr/40k service and also what difference/what is done in Intermediate/Full service?

Also asked if Lexus Croydon price match, and got a full on NO (that is not good)

Just got off the phone with Lexus Customer Service.

They say they have overhauled the servicing prices and all dealerships should be charging a standard price (so it will be £545 for a full service on the IS-F/RC-F) Apparently £445 would be for a normal IS.

That sounds a bit better, also got some pdf's on what is included in an Intermediate Service and Full Service. I have attached them below

The full is required at the evens only.

When I had mine they said in effect the service regime is basically as the IS250...save for a bit more oil, and the extra stuff on the 60k. My 80k Full service was £350 approx., so it seems they have decided to ramp up the prices. Maybe they think they can extract a bit more money out of those with Fs. Not on really.
