What Supercharger

Hi,

I'm the owner of Toyota Altezza AS/is 200 and want to supercharge it.

I looking for a kit. In Russia I can by half handmade kit or buy something from overseas.

here some questions:

As I understood most of yours cars charged with TTE charger, what are the approximate prices on used one in Europe?

What super charge kit you recommend install to is 200?

a tte one will go for around £2000 pound,i personaly would stick to the tte one.

Thats quite a strange looking charger kit, Have you got any pictures of the above kit fitted to a Lexus/Toyota? Quite interesting that :)

What is that kit

This kit is made of some their own developed charger. Price is about 2400 £ and it will give+ 60 HP

They already installed it to 2-4 IS200/Altezza, all owners are satisfied.

Have you got any pictures of the above kit fitted to a Lexus/Toyota?

Wow that's a different twist on things

I can only say the TTE ones are very reliable, and output similar levels of power,

although some of us have upgraded to bigger intercoolers :)

The kit will prob work quite well and no issues with belt slip as its a toothed belt.

The kit just needs a bit of cleaning up to make it look nicer, the cooler looks horrible. The compressor unit is a centrifugal type (belt driven turbo stlye) so is far more efficient than the roots type of the TTE kit - the power outbut is higher as well 60hp compared to 50hp of the tte

THats similar to the Rotrex one Dave used to have.

With a decent filter, some tidying up on the inlet and that wont be a bad kit.

has anyone tried using a twin screw type supercharger?

Prolex have never done a supercharger conversion mate :o
