Brian doesn't have a car if it's not special :winky: BMW really do get a lot of power out of their engines as NA, like I say I love the way my mates M3 drives, but this fat old man's car will beat it in a straight line - forget about cornering though as standard the M3 will destroy an Aristo around a bend 1.1 bar should be good for pushing out 400 or as near as dammit horses (dunno what that is in newfangled NMs :D) My supra with 1.15 bar had 395 bhp at the hubs (it did have quite a few other supporting mods for that power). I agree though start bunging an aristo through corners and any of the BM M series will glue themselves to your *****, wether they have enough oomph to get past you on the bends on a public road I seriously doubt. Message here is get in front on the straight way before the bendy bit :D

Like I said BP ultimate is pants. V-power is a significantly better fuel than BP ultimate. BP ultimate is only just better than sainsburies SUL. You will notice a difference with a supercharged car.

Are you trying to keep all the aristo's to yourself??? Why have a slow heavy V8 when there is a faster lither turbo-charged car available that is better on fuel than even the NA 3 liter never mind the V8.

The guy behind the wheel makes all the difference, especially in this weather. Is the Z4M an auto as well then? If not you can have all the flashy lights in the world but the driver still has to physically actually change the gear himself and will do themselves as and when they want to. Fluffing a gearchange will not only cost you acceleration time but will also upset the cars balance. When cars are this close in power its the driver, their attitude, and ability that makes the difference. I got disgraced once in my NA supra by a for KA once as they were prepared to drive more aggressively than me. Also an aristo will do all but the newest CSL M3s from most speeds to most speeds. A BPU aristo will pretty much do most of the M5s apart from the latest ones as well.

I found with the 2JZ GE engine that my MPG actually dropped using SUL's. BP ultimate is better only than sainsburies SUL, Esso super I'd put next, optimax (the previous name for V-power) after that and at the top I'd put the tesco 99 stuff. v-power when it was optimax was only 97 ron. With my range rover 4.6 V8 I get the same results putting in SULs ie my mpg drops. The actual power increase is more than likely there but its not big enough to be noticeable for me. Where you will notice the difference is when you start running a forced air induction system close to its limit. You then need higher ron fuels to prevent detonation. I could feel the det on WOT in my BPU'd supra if I put sainsburies SUL in it. Minimum I could use and still be able to whop the throttle to the floor was esso SUL.

Does a T67 turbo pushing out about 500 ish horses at 1.2 bar count ? :D Don't forget its also not all about 0-60 the 2JZ-GTE is renowned for its pull above 30 mph. I'd say the mk2 aristo is good for 60 in 5.4 seconds as stock and easily below 5 in BPU guise. Contrary to popular belief the VVTi's auto box will put you in the best gear when booting it significantly faster than a manual will.

Is it still an inline 6 lump?

Or keep your eyes peeled for a mk2 aristo, they do come up for sale occasionally.

You don't get much better a wheel for the GS than the 18" mk1 gs sport wheels. They are very sought after in the supra world as well.

Well to be fair the subaru's didn't actually take the cossie did they? Its a ford but I'd have it before I'd have a scooby, but then I'd eat my own testicles before i bought a scooby.

Optima yellow or red top would be my recommendation as well. Pricey but what price can you put on knowing the car will still start even if you've been playing your playstation for an hour with the car off.

Well my new car (when the money clears) kicked a Z4M roadsters ***** big time this week. That said you'd expect a singled aristo to beat off a car like a mere Z4 :D

Minor quibble its actually the world famous 2JZ-GTE engine that is fitted to the aristo TT and MKIV supra. The wheels on the MK1 vertex weren't upgraded as the spare in mine and most I have seen on the market have the nasty stock 16"s on Vertex or no. Weird thing is some cars have leather some don't, some have sunroof's some don't, V's all have turbo's S's do not (so whats the point). Yup the TT variant is packing about 300 ish BHP but that is the thin edge of the wedge. Its an easily and cheaply tuned engine (hence the world famous part). About a grand will see that 300 push 400 easily.

The gran turismo series caught my interest and I played them for a great many hours. I played populous to wile away my bored hours whilst on my apprenticeship. The game that I almost lost my sanity to however was online counter strike. I got into the top 100k in the world (out of over 20 million players at the time). I played it every waking hour and got so bad that I didn't actually sleep at nights in order to play the game. I had all sorts of scripts and codes written to assist my gameplay. I tested out every new FPS hand held device to give me the edge. I changed out every component in my PC and paid for the best available internet connection in order to up my PING to stay with the best. I smashed quite a few controllers in utter frustration and to my shame shouted at my now ex wife if she interrupted my game play. I only actually quit the game when I discovered cheats, I happened across them and when I enabled them I could see how many others in the game were cheating. I promptly and suddenly just stopped playing as it killed the game for me.

Ah now that all makes sense. The guy I bought it off didnt speak very good English and was trying to get something across about the bike. I understood OC black widow but didnt know what he meant. Now I do :D

By the look of the bottom right of that pic you had a good Christmas Nah mate thats just last weeks empties :D Booze is cheaper here than it is in France. I pay per pint on my home draught tap system (which is double what you'll pay for premium canned lager) less than 3 euro a pint which at the mo is about £2.10 for a proper draught pint. I can buy 24 bottles of non name brand lagers for 4.50 euro which is just over £3. The deposit on the bottles is more than the contents. Even the lidl's brand beers some of you know are less in euro than they are in pounds in the UK. Now I just went totally off topic (if there actualy was one in my thread)

Going around and coming around doesn't seem to work right. I send around a lot of niceness and get back a whole bunch of Pips. Sometimes though I do get my own back though (mwah ha haaaa). Its a real sh*tter when someone dumps on you especially so if you have done the decent thing yourself. Youth is a bit blinder when it comes to this principle but BMW drivers are all like it :)
