Don't think any laydeez look at me much (I hope not :o), but my car certainly attracts lots of attention and admiring glances. And nose prints on the windows when people peer in after I've parked up. But hey, why I am I telling you lot this - you already know that feeling well! I should go and post on a BMW site

Agreed. It's still one of my pet hates I'm afraid, and apparently you can get fined by the police for driving with them on in inappropriate conditions.

That's great that you got such great service. I've got kerb damage on one of my wheels and I suspect that the garage just thought I was trying to get some new ones out of them. I'm keeping my eye on the corrosion and if it gets worse I'll follow it up - they're not too noticable at the moment.

I thought that was a good read. I always thought most things on a Lexus were compatible with an Altezza. It seems quite a few of non-mechanical parts (screens, fog lights etc) are branded as Toyota when you get them. I take it they're talking about the mechanical here :?:

I have givn up for the minute - i just don't have the time to chase it! Next time im in Bracknell or Bristol (where our other offices are) I will pop in to another dealer and try their response. Hmmmm. No one is against anyone having anything other than a good time in this club. It's fantastic to swap info and experiences, but when it comes to posting stuff for sale in the forum, there's probably more appropriate places to do it. Not all of us are commercial and it's useful for us to know when someone's a trader and for them to use the appropriate means to advertise. Sorry you disagree and sorry if you don't come back, but if you are genuinely into Lexus no ones got any problem with you being here. It would probably just be better if you laid off the sales pitches. And yes...I did get pregnant at a young age. 27 to be exact. Thanks for asking ;)

I think women can be more cautious which in itself can cause problems - hesitating at junctions etc, whilst men seem to be a lot more confident, overally confident sometimes, taking more risks. You're right about the insurance and statistics, but still feels like we pay through the nose for insurance in general

I did that on my husband's Honda and was 'politely' told not to do it again.....:o

I think you'll find Wireless too slow, but at least with an access point and wireless card, you could chill in the garden with a beer whilst surfing! Broadband seems to be the better option...

Just that they dazzle me! Especially of someone is following me and has their front fogs on. What bugs me about the Max Power brigade is that a lot of them drive with their sidelights and front fogs on. Brake lights connected to rear fogs is fine...I like to be sure when the car in front is stopping :eyes::
