  1. Yeh, nothing hidden, pretty straight forward. I've just done upper and lower on both sides. £180EA uppers £51EA lowers (might have been £49) Genuine Toyota, but not from Toyota :D GS or Aristo??
  2. Really?? thought the VVTi would be more economical. Must be a problem with the throttle pedal sticking
  3. Just checked on the EPC, MK2 Aristo is different to the Supra aswell. Would post EPC pics, but can't upload here. Yeh, GReddy do a nice 2 row, which would be the one to go for if mod level isn't high. Very good price for the kits aswell.
  4. Aristo and Supra SMIC's are quite different unfortunately. (MK1 anyway)
  5. You guys not use Torrents?? The Toyota/Lexus EPC is widely available.
  6. Depends on mods, anything up to BPU levels, a good conditon stock IC will out perform most. FMIC at BPU will only give lag.
  7. The MK1 Aristo has remote lock on the key.
  8. ISO connectors are 2 plugs, 1 Black, 1 Grey. The Parrot will plug into the Headunit, then the car's stereo wiring harness will then plug into the Parrot. If the vehicle doens't have ISO connectors, you may be able to buy an ISO adaptor, or you will have to wire the Parrot in manually. HTH
  9. Just looked at the EPC, they are handed, so not interchangeable betwen sides. Part numbers 48610-39015 LH Upper wishbone 48630-39015 RH Upper wishbone HTH
  10. And please don't break the smallest glass panel, it's normally the most expensive and hardest to get.
  11. Do you have a multimeter?? if so, start the car , put the multi meter across the battery and you should get between 13.5v and 14.7v (this is with the lights on) anything outside of this, and it points to the alternator. HTH
  12. Does this only happen when #2 turbo is about to come online??
  13. Why not stick the turbos into parallel mode with a little mod. Will help with the fuel consumption more than turning the boost down to stock
  14. On the MK2, the MK1 only has a single sensor.
  15. As in looks, GTR is a bit different, but look at a stocko r33.
  16. So people don't 'thrash' standard cars?? Personally think that's bit of a myth. I'd much prefer to see a history from a garage that knows about the vehicle. For example, the 2JZ-GTE engine was only available for 4 years in this country. I doubt there's many Toyota mechanics that have worked on it. The Aristo isn't really in the same category as the EVO or Skyline. The Aristo is a big fat luxury car, with a supercar engine. Skyline----mondeo of the jap world, although the GTR is quite a looker, and defintely a goer. Evo----point to point car As someone said, make a list, then tick the boxes.
  17. As said in the other thread, might be an idea to buy some secondhand wheels with tyres to buy you some time. 2 lots here, including my old ones.
  18. Why not buy a some secondhand wheels with tyres to buy you some time??? Probably cheaper than the 2 tyres your after aswell
  19. Plus you have the V8 4X4 option aswell. Although the early TT Aristo's don't seem to be badged as V300. To the OP, why doesn't he want an import??? insurance??? A heavily modded GS, I imagine, will be alot more to insure than an import.
  20. Yeh, sorry, just a little pet hate of people saying NOS all the time :D 900BHP, obviously no warranties, but as long as set up properly, should be fairly reliable. LOTS of 2JZ-GTE's running huge power. You've been unlucky with a BHG, I have to say.
  21. But that's the GTE engine, not the GE, slightly different bottom end. The GE will take 400+ bhp, several NA supras running with a single turbo kit nowadys. NOS is a brandname ;) Nitrous should only be used at full throttle. Sounds like you need a controller to gradually feed it in.
