I would just like to add that Lexus GB cannot just blame the dealer and leave it at that. Recently we have been having an issue over something and it can't be sorted without the dealer going to Lexus GB for advice/guidance/ approval. If it's the case that the problems stayed with the dealer and Lexus GB don't get involved then why would they have to be involved in our case ???

Anyone got an old Motorola 8700 GSM phone that they don't want anymore ? The phone is obsolete now and it's the only one that will fit the phone kit fitted to my car. I don't really want to have to rip this kit out and fit another when there's a chance I might be able to use it as fitted ;) Here's hoping Rick

I always use them as they are my local dealer and haven't had a problem with them. They are very courteous and provide an exellent service. Wish I could say the same for Lexus GB - they suck big time !!!! :angry:

Was given one as my courtesy car yesterday - it's a great motor. That tailgate toy is good fun :P Drove like a car rather than a big 4x4, had all the toys (except the SE-L bits and bobs). Couldn't believe how well it shifted considering it's only 201bhp and moving quite a big mass. B) Not a 4x4 person myself but I reckon it's got to be a hard package to beat for this sort of vehicle.

They've probably discontinued the part if it's over a couple of weeks old :tsktsk: That would be par for the course it seems

My '97 GS Sport went in for a service yesterday and some of the bulbs in the high level brake light in the spoiler needed replacing. Problem is Lexus have discontinued the part and if I want it to be working I have to buy a complete new spoiler - only £358 :o :o :o Why on earth don't they support the older cars by supplying such minor but important parts - I am completely pi$$ed off with them now. That aside Lexus Hadleigh were their usual excellent selves - even gave me a brand new RX as a courtesy car - what a nice motor. :D Still doesn't make up for Lexus GB not being able to supply basic parts - :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:

Ian Welcome to the world of Microsoft :yack: Seriously though, trying to find yout what's gone wrong from your description is neddle in a haystack time. All I can suggest is uninstalling any programs that you've installed just before it started crashing. Not very helpful I know but some more detailed info might help point in the right direction. Another thing worth trying is typing the specific error shown into Google and see what returns you get :duh: Good luck Rick

It doesn't matter how flash the kit is - it all about the sound I reckon. :) I run mine through a Trace Elliot 130 combo - good quality unit but lacks a full enough sound I jammed once using a mates old Orange amp and a 4x10 cab - best sound I've ever had - I even convinced myself that it made me play better too

He's just trying to be fashionably late arriving at the party :D
