    is the completely polished one, like the edges on the standard wheels but all over the wheel, or is it chrome, as in very shiny (like the headlights)?

    yeah that bit is definitely painted black just look at it this way, its better that this happened before you had your funky paint job done, and the chances of having this bad luck again are much less! :winky:

    if these lights are from lexus anyway, why don't they have the levelling function? (even though it is irrelevant here, i was just curious) surely they're just the same lights off all our cars with a bit of the surround in a different colour ;)

    if you buy the IS300 HID headlamps and want to put them on and IS200, do you just remove the old ones, and connect the new ones in, or is it not that simple? is it the same with US IS300 headlamps?

    can i get this meguiars stuff from halfords then? also do you guys use their shampoos and polish, or just the polish? if so, which shampoo do you use or does that not matter much? i am currently using zymol shampoo and wax, but i want to be able to remove scratches but havent had much luck with this or with t-cut, what else can you use to remove scratches?

    yeah, no doubt the SC430 has some good points, but compared to the SL, it doesnt really have a chance except when price is considered

    anyone see top gear last night? is the sc430 really as bad as they made it out to be? i agree that it isnt much of a looker, but i think the interior is fantastic with all those electric covers for stereo and satnav i also understand that it isnt much of a drivers car, but its a lexus, so surely it must be comfortable for long-distance cruising?

    only used the tape player once or twice, but i'm sure it stops when you change the source

    yeah i managed to activate the brake assist the other day cos some idiot pulled straight out into the road from a side road, but anyway, the brake pedal just stays pressed down even when you release the pressure slightly - brilliant the new grille also looks so much better than the old one - hence i'm having a really hard time deciding whether i want a sport grille or not ;)

    yeah the strathcaron blue is brilliant, especially for some reason, under the bright lights of a petrol station at night. Shows up all kinds of shades of blue it does pick up scratches and chips, but as far as cleaning it, its actually quite surprising. I havent washed my car for about a month now (exams and the like), and the car still looks quite clean. Because of this, the dirty alloys actually look like smoked alloys, its all very weird!!

    never really had a problem with the seat height (cos i'm not very tall!) not sure bout the radio display, or windscreen wipers, but had no reason to complain so far but i definitely prefer the one colour interior (u are talking about the dash arent you?) also prefer, both electric front seats and smoked rear lights but dont prefer the new locking mechanism (the old one may have caused problems for silly people, but otherwise its much better) also dont like the fact that the older cars had more BASS!!!

    i think its also because you're a BLOKE!!! it doesnt do the error thing all the time, but when it does, it does it on all the discs for a while, and then goes away i guess the dirt on the lens is a possibility

    get the lexus one its definitely gonna be worth a lot more in the future even if you do want to sell it later
