if you are buying private, then definitely get an AA inspection because it is worth it i think there is quite an even spread between SE and Sport owners, personally i only bought an SE because i wanted an Auto. Its basically because the extras you get on the Sport over the SE are: Tinted windows (B-pillar backwards) Limited slip rear differential Stainless steel pedals Two tone steering wheel (black and grey) Rear lip spoiler The newer cars have lowered suspension (not too sure) One insurance group higher (i think) Therefore, if you don't really need any of these things, you can save a little and buy the SE

for the interior light i'm sure its no trouble, you could even paint the bulb in there which are you referring to as dash lights? do you mean all the dials? could that be done by just changing the bulb? wouldn't you need blue LEDs for it to show up properly? i'd like to know the answer to this one too

yeah i'm sorry but i cant help it if everyone else was as careful as all you guys, then i'd be happy to park anywhere reminds me of one time in my old car when this fat woman parked next to me just before i was about to leave. she couldnt wait and insisted on getting out first and then letting me go. anyway, she ended up hitting my car about 3 times and then when i confronted her she denied everything i cant be bothered to put up with all this anymore, hence the discourteous parking but i do apologise for the inconvenience -
yeah turning the pump 90 degrees anticlockwise (so hose is pointing towards back of car) works fine usually or if you want to avoid this completely and fill up normally use any of the new bp connect petrol stations they got different pumps that even work in the lexus!

does that mean that the alpine TMC tuner would also be made by this company? therefore it may add on to the lexus nav :duh: i think i may poke about a little on my nav system to see if there are any connectors for this sort of thing

hang on, this AW make the system and alpine use that system so is the alpine and lexus system the same? or is it just the discs and software that is the same

well i've never actually seen that before it looks a bit nuts really (for that much, could buy a ferrari and with the left over buy an IS200!)

but isnt the sportcross listed as having 9 speakers? which means its got the normal 8 of the IS200/300 plus the sub? but if that is true, then its just there to produce the bass that our speakers produce (which isn't really any)

is the sub in the 300 sportcross any good? can it be added to an IS200? want more bass but dont wanna stick a big box in the boot, i assume the IS300 one must be quite small cos cant see it in any pictures

i've recently noticed that the lexus navigation is exactly the same as the alpine one :hocus-pokus: does that mean its just got the same software, or could it possibly be also the same hardware? the reason why i ask is that the alpine system has an add-on TMC tuner and whether this could then be added to the lexus system? Please dont abuse me too much if this is totally ridiculous

so they giving sport styling kit on SE now? for £1125 extra? which normally costs £2070 on Sport? why couldnt they have started all these discounts when i bought my car a few months ago that means they may even discount the kit for current owners oh well, i'm sure the price will balance out again when the insurance company finds out

yeah definitely better materials on dash, it scratches sooo easily and also want full leather option on all models, not just 300 and 5 speed auto

is black chrome black and shiny, or just like the finish on the rear lights? and when they changed the rear ones, how come they didnt change the front ones?
