  1. I was hoping to see some of you guys again after the last meet at Bluewater, but I'll be attending the PTM show at Santa Pod instead, so I won't be making this one. Didn't some of you guys show interest on that thread too? :P
  2. You have PM - I think, I clicked on "send" but nothing shows up in my sent folder, I don't know if it's a glitch on my end or not. Let me know if you haven't received it, thanks.
  3. This will be the 3rd meet scheduled on the same weekend, PTM show, SE meet and now a SW meet as well! Too bad I can't be at 3 places at the same time, would have been a good day by the sea.
  4. You guys are getting the car a valet before the meet :o I was just going to give it a quick rinse, guess I might actually have to get it done properly if I can find the time.
  5. A quick roster to those meeting at Stafford Services at 1000 for a convoy up to Bolton, so we know if we need to wait for anyone in case they are running a little late. I'm guessing we'll be leaving 1015ish to make Bolton by midday. For those with ? please confirm your decision soon, and anyone else coming up the M6 are more than welcome to join, so please let us know. For those worried about keeping up, DON'T! I believe only lee_iceman got SC on the list so far (correct me if I'm wrong), and I'm sure he'll slow down to pity us :P For those using a satnav to guide them there, the post code is ST15 0EU. lee_iceman Aztecbandit Yaumeister PiratePete? WylieCoyote Oh and yes I'm up for food at Harvester as well.
  6. Just out of curiousity, does anyone (especially Jamie the organiser) has any specific plans for the day? Perhaps lunch and time allowing some sort of group activity, eh... tenpin bowling or something. If there is to be lunch, and if reservation is necessary, those bringing guests should indicate so? Considering it's going to be quite a good turn out, is anyone interested in a group shot? I remember seeing a photo of a big LOC banner somewhere before, think it was hanging on a wall at STS Watford with Dr Tony. Maybe we can use that if we still have it?
  7. You can get PIAA wiper blades from PRI Racing, don't forget your Gold discount.
  8. Alternatively go to your local Hobbycraft or similar and pick up a size 0 or 1 artist fine brush, gives you a lot more precision then the brush included with the touch up paint.
  9. SK20 are normal ones, IK20 are the performance ones. Go for IK20.
  10. If you want something different I would recommend some retrofit flat wiper blades that look like the ones fitted to many new vehicles. After experimenting with a few different brands, I find the Bosch Aerotwin the best! Pic below for reference, but then I had ones from Trupart which unfortunately turned out to have a faulty blade on the driver side. If you gets ones from eBay, stay away from the ProVision (or similar spelling) ones, they perform horribly as they don't wipe properly on the downward motion. BTW, I got my wiper blades from http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/, very convenient just select your vehicle and it lists all the correct wiper blades, which are 22" and 19". Oh and even the most expensive (eh... the Bosch Aerotwin ) is only £25 for the pair, the normal ones work out to be around £10, so stay away from the sdealers for these!
  11. Can do, always nice to be in a convoy, I'm not supercharged though so might have some trouble keeping up Anyone heading up the M6 feel free to join.
  12. No no I didn't post on the wrong thread, I do intend to drive 2.5 hrs each way. Let's just say I have nothing better to do on a Sunday and I enjoy driving in my Lex with my iPod tunes.
  13. Unless something sudden pops up on my schedule, I should be able to attend.
  14. I'm interested, so count me in.
  15. This is the fore-mentioned dash tray, fitted to Altezza as standard.
  16. Denso Iridium Power spark plugs (ie. IK20) are recommended to be changed every 30K, the normal ones are 60K.
  17. eBay if you want to go cheap, from £8 from the Far East or about £15 for a local one, do a search for "lexus key case". You will still need your transponder from your old remote though, and you have to get the key cut. Otherwise your local Lexus dealer should be able to help, at a likely hefty cost.
  18. It's odd though the pattern of the LEDs, the top half has 5 banks of LED, the bottom only has 3. Although at only £150 it's also slightly cheaper then the DEPO type. Links to them on ebay UK for those interested. Red Smoked LED Black Smoked LED
  19. Any updates on this possible group buy?
  20. If you are going with those, I would suggest the red ones instead. I just don't like the detailing (spider web look?) within the lense, and the red ones cover it up quite nicely, but you still get the LED effect.
  21. It has to be from "Back to the Future", note the date in this picture Quick search on Google shows it's appear to be a cousin of the Corolla, but the pics on ebay look nothing like any of the reference pics...
  22. I had mine done at STS Watford by Dr Tony, cost me £100 and I think that would be the typical price. Get a FREE fine tune too after 2000 miles, which for me is soon.
  23. I recently have mine done at Lap Tab which is recommended by LOC, check their site for details.
  24. It's on the engine cover where the Lexus logo is, unclip the "clips" at the front and back of it.
