Hi Thinking of RX Series 1 or Series 2 but have Ski's and Kayak. But hate roof racks and Estates. Would like to know distance from rear to say front, if all rear seat and passengers seat layed flat? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I read some where that the Is200 was designed around the ls400 which is built to do a million miles???? and this is mirrored in all there models. service book, has spaces to 180 000!!

Hi I would continue with Oxford, if no joy raise to Customer Services, But i wont take it to Southampton, they might sell lexus's , But they dont know how to fix or repair them, Reading seem fine. I know that from speaking to Brighton and Poole, this is the fact as they seem to collect most of Southampton work.due to them having poor customer service. Hope this helps

Hi Nothing selling except " DIESELS " This is the biggest seller at the mo, what with speed and Mpg, lower tax bands. I have seen more move off the local forecourts and private dealers,then most!! Guess its a waiting game?

Just been to the lexus 2004 open road event and, had the joy of trying all the range, and YES all still paint chip and scratch, some things never change even after all the complaints. But my choose still keeps coming back to my IS200. everything is laid out just right, followed by the new rx300.. shame the spare is underneath and not inside like the 200's - remember " EVERY LEXUS IS A COMPLETE LUXURY EXPERIANCE" though. :D :D Gs 430 sport - nice to look at, smooth drive - but my demo had white dials like a ford fiesta and centre console squeeked, drove me mad and suspension was like riding bare back on a whale. More work required me thinks. Still well organised yet food wasnt upto last years standards, guess it was cut back to provide more more cars and bigger venue (Saint Hill Manor - East Grinstead) I can live with this, after all its the cars we want to see. Anyone go?

How are both on brake dust creation?

Rx 300 - or Gs430...

To all, need new brakes all round - could anyone suggest best replacements and cost, hope to reduce brake dust? Also might like to buy and get garage to fit. Thanks

Mine had similar issue, found to be 1: Sunroof surround black strip and 2: The seat belt loop thing on pillar: both replaced under warranty and silence is restored, Wd40 was no good this time. Common issues so i was advised.

ive had new Lex 12mth warranty every year since original ran out and always get new number, to prevent fraud etc. So i was advised, and so far never been a problem when needed. You should have waitied till original rang out, you get auto notification to ask if you want to renew. salemen you didnt believe him did you? from top range to bottom there all the same.

Hi When car reaches 50 - 60 steering wheel shakes badly, below this speed and above it no problems straight as a die, doesnt pull, tyre pressure's and tread fine,and tracking spot on? cant work out why Any ideas pls, thanks

Hi Thought the way forward in all future models was hybrids? What with rx400 gt350 and massive ls450 to comeover next 3 years. Would make sense! Id prefer a hybrid to a modern tank.

Hi Well we all know how soft the paint is?? and when if this type of motor hits the road, and at what cost, dont think i want to be for ever touching up the front? with the single small pot of touch up paint you get ...or not... lets hope a 10,000 mile re spray is included. All good and well re designing the car lets hope they spend just as much producing a paint finish that can last 10years and doesnt chip at the first sight of a stone..Also produce a car in the same league as the Audi TT and every yahoo henry will get one for the drive, and there as common as hell now, and cheap and cheerful now.

Q: If the RAC etc open the car - once past the deadlock system? ..doesnt the Alarm go off? even if you smash window? - so if they get into the car its screaming and then you cant hotwire because of the immobiliser system ? Also the barrel system is in the dash not steering lock?, so even if you break the steering lock the barrel still needs to be got at.? I still think he didnt lock it correctly? or an insider job?
