    Just thought i'd mention that i've just spotted an IS about 8 mins into the film, where the fella runs into a building and closes a shutter, the view changes from inside that building and there is an IS parked across the road, and if i'm not mistaken, its a black one with cream interior EDIT: watched first on a borrowed copy and it appeared green, but I think its actually black having seen it at t he pics now

    i've heard recently there been a serious clampdown on tints, so be careful how dark you get them, my car has no tints either but i've seen other green ones with tints and they look so much better than mine

    FYI these are uprated plugs that will need to be changed every 30,000 miles rather than the standard 60,000 miles. Hence why they are much cheaper too I bought my IK20's (and Jamie's IK22's) on 30th July, and they still not here just yet

    guess i'm one of the lucky ones, mines a 2000 and as long as the seals are cleaned after its rained, my boot pops up all the way I have no spoiler either, incase this is relevent ( I recently won an ebay (US) item for a spoiler, with brakelight, ready painted in kensington green 6q7, advertised as new, and the pics looked genuine enough, for $49.99!!! Clicky postage was $200 though :( ) he has a few spoilers for sale at the mo, just incase anyone else is looking for one who has that kind of postage cash spare :S

    If the convoy gets big enuff, can some people get some snaps or footage to upload to the site, its always nice to see peoples journeys, especially those making the extra effort to travel all the way up here, when people like me only have a 10 minute drive

    they just unscrew theres plenty of 'bee sting' types on ebay, where the part that screws to the roof is normally either black or chrome, and the tip is black or chrome too, and the middle bar, normally black, comes in 2 sizes, and this middle piece is prone to rust over time, but they work fine, just give it a wipe whenever its been raining I know you appreciate the look of your car without mods, so the black would look nice on your roof

    I paid £6,500 for mine, 2000x with 56k on the clock 6 months ago, paid £500 on a service (inc cambelt etc) and new stereo, and expect to sell it in 12 months for about £5,500 hopefully cos it'll still have low mileage on it, and i've set myself a budget of £10k for a newer one when I sell mine, assuming I don't have any bad luck causing my insurance to go up again

    yeh I believe Rod had ordered a body kit for a US IS300 to go on his IS200 but found out it needed cutting down as the US models are wider due to US safety regulations, if I can find his thread i'll link it, altho i'm sure J already knows abou it clicky
