Thats a good page!!!, first tank on car was 54.5 ,had a 48 now around 52 so not really done enough yet. Was reading from the current avg page on computer but realised next page average is probably the tank avg so using that.

2month ramblings , ha!!!. Had my ct about two months and still absolutely love it. Yes it has good and bad points. Black is a pain to clean but rewards when done. The dab radio was bettered in my vw but the sound in the ct is much better. I love the rev camera and probably use it too much lol. The car has slowed my driving which is not a bad thing. I now drive more smoothly while keeping track of the mpg figures. The passenger seatbelt rattled on the b pillar while driving and the sponge i stuck on the pillar kept getting knocked off. I now slide the belt under the seat adj lever ,this keeps the clip against the seat and not the plastic pillar. Not yet tried the auto lights or wipers but will read manual and get on it. does anyone record their mpg usage and miles per tank? i decided to keep track per tank and measure 3each tanks of eco/normal/sport and mixed and see what the results are. Its obviously going to take a few months to get finished but hopefully it will show how each setting suits my driving style. Which to use and what to avoid or has no benefit. Probably pointless but makes the drive interesting.

Well that just explains my incident, sunday morning started car everything normal pulled away large bang from rear. Everything seemed fine and nothing left on floor ,been fine since. Was parked in front of a cliff hotel overnight with very cold damp sea air. Just thought id put the brake on too hard then saw this post.

Yes they are pricey bluenose but a lovely bit of kit. Once setup its so much easier. One press and all relevant units turn on to watch tv or bluray. Even if i hadnt broke my denon remote id still use one as its more convienient than swapping between 3/4 remotes on the sofa lol. 100% recommended.

I broke a remote for my denon reciever a few years ago. The replacement was nit cost effective and the sky / tv relote wont gandle the functions. my solution was the logitech harmony remote range. Charges from a dock and controls everything. Check their web page for compatibility but may give you another option?

Always thought the reason for condensation was different temperatures on either side of glass. With heater on then parking the moisture in the warmth of air in the car cools and forms condensation. I always turn heater off 5mins from home and open a window to balance temperature on either side of glass. Yes its cold and not ideal but i dont get condensation very often.

I did love that car and after the ct i could see myself in another 400,430 or 460 but thats a decision for another time. Hard pressed to pick my favorite of the two, both excellent for different reasons but both better than all my other previous cars. How i went vw for 5years is is mystery lol

Yeah i agree, the new tyre look has gone. Any suggestions on something thats not to messy to apply. Ive used meguires tyre gel on previous cars but messy stuff lol.

Hi, only had mine for nearly a month now and light comes on around 25-26 for me but seems to drop quicker than miles covered so id be interested how much is actaully left in reserve. Read somewhere that the reserve is somewhat conservative.

I know they make pressure washers and are considered more for professional detailers use more than the usual karcher and nilfisk stuff.

Haha, i only commented how the rear lighrs just seemed bright at night. As for the actual driving i do it as the manual says. In drive with foot on brake unless extended period then its hbrake neutral. Guess its just me who thinks their bright then lol

When i had my old 400 i never noticed this but in the ct when you come up to red lights at night and hold the car on the footbrake the rear leds ( never had led lights before ) really light up everything!!!! Signs behind car ,peoples faces in car behind just everything. Its like have the fog light on ( no i havent) no choice in a auto but to use brake but they just seem bright, hope its not annoying people behind. Lol

What are the chances of that, least it hasnt damaged the paint. :-)

So been looking into getting the paid membership in place and nipped into halfords just to have a gander at the cleaning products and see how much id use the discount card. When i came back out to the car i didnt really notice the 3people talking infront of the next car over. Sat in belted up, selected "d" and gently pulled out... well one of the women chatting jumped so much it made me look twice. Made me smile.

Price up the same service at toyota. My local dealer shares workshops with toyota. Wouldnt hurt to compare
