  1. Weren't driving through Bootle aka Bierut by any chance ? Someone fired an RPG (firework) in my direction around New Year. :o
  2. And associate with you Mancs.........................would be delighted. Unfortunately I have other plans with the other half. :)
  3. You want to watch him, with his fancy car - trying to make me spend lots of money so mine will look as good as his........Devils work I tell you........ :D
  4. So how long have you worked at Meguiars then imi ? :D
  5. You should be pretty safe - being a yocal most of the area has signs but not cameras. :D Gutted I missed the meet - didn't get back from getting lumps kicked out of me by so called 'sportsmen' until late. oh well maybe next time. ;)
  6. I must be aswell - had mine about 2 months and still can't change gear smoothly every time. Seems to be a bit smoother the higher you let the revs go, but I don't like reving the engine when it is cold, so for about the first 10 minutes of each journey I have to wear a neck brace.
  7. At that particular time the joke was me. Strange how the world can appear when you are spining 360 degrees with no traction at all (who waxed that bus lane ?!)
  8. Guess I was lucky then !! My old 318iS had a huge evo spoiler, scorpion exhaust, induction kit, chipped, 17" Polished M3 alloys, M3 mirrors - none of which was mentioned to the insurance. When I accidently reversed it into the Southport Flower Show (at speed). I got all of the repair work done without any problem.
  9. Know how you feel Dumbass. Last car was an M3 Evo with 321bhp. Love the Lex but could do with a few more horsies under the bonnet without having to shell out for them. May have to go back to a performance car next year - It takes some getting used to being left at the lights when your used to pulling away with a smile on your face. Love everything about the Lex - just miss that feeling of knowing that the power is there when you want to unleash it.
  10. Let me know what time - should be able to make it. :)
  11. I feel for ya buddy - you'll be in my prays !!! :duh:
  12. Just a thought Zee !!! It may take some counselling but it can be done :D
  13. You guys ever thought about taking the lead out of your boots before you drive !!!
  14. Not far off you - 415 miles last time around and about 62 litres to fill up - I do an 80 mile round trip five days a week. Don't have to fill up more than once a week really, which makes a change. Big difference in what I used to get (1998 BMW M3) ~250 miles using about 55 litres of the 60 litre tank. Fill up twice a week (do miss the power though - a bit). :)
  15. Suppose it depends how lucky you are really, and how quickly you need to sell your car. 18K is a good price if the car is mint.
  16. Chester Lexus is good for me, being that I am extremely lazy and it's only 5 minutes from home. Would love to see that car of yours Zee. :) Paul
  17. £18660 - £17995 - £15725 - £16340 A1 - Good - Fair - Trade Value. What car have you been offered ?
  18. Mine with spoiler, does what it feels like - sometimes it opens about half way, sometimes it unlocks but doesnt move at all and then other times it just pops open a tiny bit. Keeps me on my toes !!
  19. Commonly refered to (or maybe not) as the 'Gator Grip' . Haven't tried it on my locking nuts, but gives a damn good grip on most things of a sockety nature !! :)
