Should my ignition barrel (if thats what you call the bit where your keys goes to start the car)be lit, when I unlock my car ? I seem to remember reading it somewhere, but mine doesn't do it.

Mine will only play the clear unlabelled writeable CD's - not too sure about re-writeables - although I've never had much look with re-writeables in any of my car audio systems. Definately won't play labelled writeables though.

Good point Matt, Safeway just happens to be over the road from me, so it was more ease of use than cheapness. (honest) I think I might give my new baby a tank of the Amber Nectar and see what I think. cheers Paul

Matt, Do you see any performance gains using optimax ? I had been using it for the past year to run my M3, as this needed a minimum of 98Ron fuel. I was just wondering if I should go back to it - I have just been using Safeway unleaded since my defection from the darkside on Sunday. cheers Paul

Definately interested in peoples thoughts, I was pondering getting one of these myself. I think the cheapest one is in Argos, seems a bit over priced in Halfords.

Cheers Matey. I believe the previous owner had the tints done by Lexus when he ordered the car. I will see if they can help, next time I drop in.

Anyone know how to remove scratches from a tinted side window ? I only picked my 2001 IS200 sport up on sunday. It's pretty mint, but there is an annoying scratch on my drivers side window, I have privacy glass all round. On another note, being an ex beeeeeemmmmmeeeerrrr driver (for the last 4 years), I have to say I have been very impressed with the quality of my baby Lexi, both build and ride. :D

Definately an experience when you have 321bhp being fed through to the rear wheels. :o Drove my new lex for only the second time briefly today, and had the little slippy car light blinking at me, take it that means the rears weren't going anywhere when my foot was on the peddal ? (haven't read through the manual yet)

I miss my 'M' - but then I've only had the Lexus for three days, two of which have been spent in a vauxhall astra estate. Only time will tell....... ;)
