  1. That's 6,5" isn't it? In Sweden the metric system applies to everything except rims, speakers, TVs and sailing boats :D When I bought the grilles the bigger speakers were included. What I noticed is that there are actually two speakers in each.. um.. speaker. Therefore they need four wires each. My original speakers have only two wires each so they are not bi-wired?
  2. That's exacly the kind of answer I was looking for. Thanks mate! :D I have the Sport version, but it has the smaller 2-wire speakers so that's perfect. I just recently replaced my rear speaker grilles with the bigger ones that says LEXUS What about the size of the front speakers? How many inches are they? Thanks
  3. I'm rather comfortable in the world of electronic gadgets and solutions, but when it comes to car speaker systems I'm totally lost. Not until I upgraded my interior and actually saw the boring looking original speakers I was tempted to buy something else, but I really don't want to replace my HU, so my questions is; Can I get a better sound with different speakers, without replacing my HU? I'm not interested in a subwoofer as I often need the luggage space, but I'd like to replace my front tweeters and door speakers as well as my rear 6x9s. Let's say I'd buy this kit for example: Would it be possible to just replace my current speakers with these ones or do I need extra amps to power them? In that case, is it possible to connect them to the original HU? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!
  4. I've found a pic!! :D Even better, I've found a control panel for sale. The breakers want 400kr (£32) for it. Depending on how it works I´ll use as many buttons as possible for my sat nav.
  5. My eyebrows have arrived! :D I will try fitting both the angel eyes and eybrows on saturday, probably, just to see how it looks.
  6. Hi mate, Might I ask how it sounded before you had it replaced? My car recently started making a sligth ticking noise, only heard inside the car or if you open the bonnet. Thanks
  7. This guy on ebay might do it? If not, i can prob pick ya one up and send it to ya mate, (obviously you cover all postage and packing costs ect.) what colour is ure car? Repeated post! EDIT: Do you not have a sport grill as standard anyway mate? That would be great! Thanks :D My car is platinum ice and of course I will pay for the postage and packing. I don't think the sports grille ever made it to Sweden. I've never seen a Swedish IS200 with it, and the dealers haven't heard of it.
  8. Yes, and i'm slightly dubious of it! Also, the video earlier in this thread showing the illigal and out of alignment beam pattern does not inspire confidence! Here in Sweden it's illegal only because you need to have automatically adjusted lights. The beam pattern is great according to the Swedish MOT guys.
  9. Would anyone be willing to post one to Sweden, please ? Lexus dealers don't, and I really want one.
  10. Your xenon kits seem super cheap :o My kit was £296 a year ago
  11. How about these? Boot Lid Needs Viagra
  12. I apologize for the Swedish text. I've just copied my post from another forum. I will translate the text tomorrow. Here we go: Firstly the connections i my car didn't match the ones on the new seats. The first thing I did was to add this red wire which runs all the way from a 15A fuse on the battery. I removed the plugs and added my own. The yellow airbag connections are the only ones that matches the seats. New plugs on the seats as well. The pink wires were left over, doing nothing at all. Same thing with these plugs. My seatbelts didn't fit in my new 2004 anchors. You might think it's just a matter of swapping anchors, but it was harder than I thought. It was easy to bend them to the right shape Then the plugs for the seatbelt sensors were different. Again, no problem. I don't know how many hours I tried to figure out how the sensors worked in the passenger seat. I know there are two sensors which checks if the seat is occupied and if the seatbelt is in its anchor. However, there were too many wires. For some reason the two sensors had five(!) wires running between themselves and somewhere else. I found four of the other ends, which I connected to my plug, but the fifth I couldn't find. This is the wiring diagram I made during the progress This one was made to test the seatbelt sensors. Fitted nicely This little yellow wire was responsible for all the sensor problems in my passenger seat. After several hours of problem solving I simply cut it and everything started working perfectly Finally the front seats are fitted I love my new seats :) And now I deserve a beer
  13. Ask Bam Margera. Didn't he fit a sunroof on his Gallardo?
  14. FINISHED! Everything is working properly and the interior looks stunning. I've taken a huge amount of pictures and will upload them later on. Cheers for now!
  15. My drivers seat is now in place and fully operational. My only problem now is to get the passenger seatbelt sensor to work. What confuses me is that there are three wires going to the two sensors. Don't give up tunamgu. It's obviously not impossible.
  16. UPDATE: The passenger seat motors are working properly, the occupant sensor is working and the heating should be working. The problem now is that the passenger seatbelt light doesn't stop flashing when you use the seatbelt. The drivers side should be working. I just haven't mounted the seat yet. @tonamgu - I've blown a few fuses by using the seat motors. I started with a 5A fuse and I'm now using a 15A one. I was recommended 40A, but I'm not too sure about that. I don't want to burn the motors.
  17. I will upload my wiring diagram if it turns out to work. The last hours I've struggled with the belt thingys. The new ones doesn't match my seatbelts and the sensors are different. I'm almost finished with my passenger seat. I'll let you know how it works in about 20-30 minutes.
  18. The xenon lights are great. The only downside is that they need a few seconds to warm up. When you first light them up they are very blue, before they turn white. That's not ideal for high beams, unfortunately.
  19. The only thing these bulbs do is to filter away the yellow, bright light. That leaves you with a sort of green/blueish dark light that is really bad. My HIDs look more blue but the light they emit is super bright white. These halogen bulbs feel like someone trying to make a flashligt that emits shadow. I may be able to take a few detailed photos tonight, comparing the HIDs to the "white" halogen ones.
  20. Does it look greenish in reality as well, or are we fooled by the camera? If they are bright white, I really want a set.
  21. Now that I've used them at night for the first time I think I will swap back to the original light bulbs for the high beams.
  22. I got a reply from AAC. This is what I asked: And the reply from Justin: A minute after a money request arrived. That certainly helped me decide not to go for their halos ;)
  23. Thanks everyone :) I didn't really get the reactions I was looking for. I just wanted to know if the AAC halos act the same way as mine. You say I make it look easy. Well, this isn't hard. I can imagine it to be rather difficult to seal it properly, but some silicone should solve that easily. I'm not sure I like angel eyes either. This is more of an experiment. I like to see for myself how things work. I actually ordered a set of white eyebrows a while ago, before I even thought of angel eyes. They should arrive soon. Lets see how they look together with halos, shall we? :D If you can get hold of extra headlights that would be something to practise on. That one was actually closely related to mine. Both their license plate numbers are JCP7**. Yep, I will paint the insides black. I've came across two sets of extra clusters for my headligts. I will practise my painting skills one them and if I succeed I'll just replace my original ones.
  24. Don't you mean 9006? They are the same as HB4
