  1. I'm glad you told me. Thanks! :D I will replace my anchors before I fit the seats tomorrow. I've got the electricity figured out now, so I'm good to go as soon as the sun rises... or maybe a bit later than that.
  2. Well, my problem is the other way around. The plugs in the car are the airbag and 2 white plugs with 2 pins each. My new seats have got a large plug with 5 pins and the airbag plug of course. Please help me and my fellow Scandinavian
  3. I've removed the rear seat and the parcel shelf and I'm just about to upgrade my rear speakers. Bought a third parcel shelf and the speakers from a car with the 8 speaker system. Pictures are coming later, when I start with the front seats.
  4. Just a quick question before I begin, if I disconnect the battery will the ECU/radio lose its memory somehow?
  5. Here is some info - http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=48154
  6. In a few hours I will see what the Swedish connections look like.
  7. I just spoke to Lexus. They told me to disconnect the battery and wait at least five minutes before unplugging the seats. Also, all Scandinavian IS200s have heated seats and according to Lexus the connections for the electric seats should already be there. We'll find out if that's the case.
  8. Well, now I've bought an HKS Super Dragger (is it one or two G's?). I hope it isn't too loud. I don't want to sound like a 90s Civic
  9. I paid £720 for everything, but it was taken off a Swedish 2004 IS200 with just 821 mil (svenska mil) behind it. I will speak to Lexus today and ask them how to unplug/plug everything.
  10. Same here. I don't want my neck broken because I pulled the wires in the wrong order. Vad sägs om att vi båda tar kort och hjälps åt på det sättet? These are instructions for the rear seat, anyway: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...st&p=430176
  11. Are you me? :o My electric leather seats arrived at my place this morning. I will replace my manual cloth ones with them tonight. I believe I asked about it in a thread not long ago. I'll see if I can find it.
  12. Today I went to the breakers to pick up a busted headlight. I needed something to practice on before I open up my own ones. Since this headlight had two broken pins it was considered "destroyed", so I got it for £20 It fitted nicely in my oven 15 minutes later the glue had melted and I was able to open the thing up I squeezed in my halos Somewhat assembled again. I just snapped everything together, without bothering about the glue Connected to the sidelight wires Tomorrow I will speak to AAC and find out if their halos light up instantly. Not sure I will keep these ones.
  13. I've almost decided to go for the HKS Silent Hi-Power, but it seems there are different versions of it. The one at Prolex has an exhaust cooler(?), which the other ones haven't got. Do they sound different? Which one would you recommend? Thanks
  14. That's what I got today. My high beam lights are white halogen ones and my low beams are 6000K HIDs These are the halogen light bulbs I used. £12
  15. Good evening, I've just laid my hands on an 8000K CCFL halo kit, sold by a Swedish company, for less than half the price of the AAC ones. I'm just testing the halos to see if they are as bad as I expected, but I must say I'm positively suprised by them. I would also like to hear the opinions of those of you who have got the AAC Oracle brand halos. This is how they look when fully lit. All the pics are taken with the same shutter speed and settings. The sun was actually shining directly through the windows, on the table where my halos laid. That gives you an idea of how bright they are. However, in sligthly below normal room temperature (~18°C) it took them about five minutes to get there. I suspected it has to do with the temperature of the ballast so I put it in the freezer for half an hour, just to confirm my theory. This is how they look when the ballast is really cold. You can see the sun shining on the left side of the paper. This is a comparison between the fully lit halos and the other ones which were just taken out of the box and connected. A few minutes later I'm just curious if the AAC halos act the same way. Some of you should know. Cheers!
  16. Is it easy to replace the light bulbs behind the A/C controls? Mine only lights up to "LO".
  17. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=49236 - ;)
  18. From what I've heard they're not very reliable either.
  19. http://www.lexus-parts.com/parts_detail.asp?id=88866 - These?
  20. I'll do it this summer. I'm curious as well.
  21. That would be worth the Nobel prize
  22. HP boost doesn't exactly go along with fuel saving ;)
  23. I saw that kit yesterday and became very tempted to buy the rear bumper. Are JDL kits any good? Do they need a lot of modifying before fitting?
  24. And the Rockford Fosgate sticker, as well. How clumsy of them
