    Out of interest did anyone notice any increased wind noise from around the screen after fitting the new one ? A mate had one done and now has noticed an increase in noise around the top of the screen between 60 and 70 - yet we can't see anything amiss ...

    I don't use them - perhaps that make me a control freak - who knows ... Hate the idea of a mistaken "flashed to let me out" senario.

    Just wondered what was found wrong - for that sum there must be a few items (like ball-joints ?) that would be hard to "knock-out" in just 10 days - therefore surely a strong case for RAC to be held accountable ... Of course agree with your point re: their defence !

    Try searching the site - I seem to recall this was a discussion lat year - it is the cabling to the screen breaking up - someone decribed a fix I think ...

    Think the pollen filter is around £36 - just clips into unit behind glove-box - easily done if you want to avoid any labour ! Reg-gas - don't know - can't you claim on any warranty - unusual to lose gas

    The CD is at 3.7 - released around Feb 2003 - finally got mine around May 2003 - hope that helps. The DVD is on a different release - don't know those details.
