  1. I ordered a Denso (OE) condenser £170.22 all in at Rockauto last Tuesday evening and it arrived this Monday a very good service.
  2. They do ship as I tried South Atlanta but at checkout I had to order over 100,000 dollars worth! Lexus Knoxville ship apparently but there is no option for international shipping at checkout, I guess I'll have to contact them. I just thought it would be easier if someone had recently bought something it would save me a lot of time. I have a Denso a/c condenser (Lexus don't do them anymore) shipping from RockAuto and was £160 all in add on 3% for debit card and then whatever rate the bank choose for that day! Thanks.
  3. Hi everyone, I was hoping someone could tell me of a Lexus USA dealer who ships parts to GB? Thanks.
  4. Plugs are good for 60,000 miles so I think you'd be wasting your money replacing them. Could be worth having the Ht leads checked as some of them are more likely to be breaking down.
  5. I bought it and I do have a complaint................... it's far too smooth for a car with that mileage!! I'm sorry Mark but it has gone to a good home and will be very well looked after. I brought six cd's with me and one was Motorhead and that mixed with the Motorway didn't help the MPG and the MPH but the car behaved with Meticulous Marvelosity!
  6. I'm still looking for one but had the Toyota Soarer with same engine and gearbox and it was like sitting in your armchair and a 3 hour journey seemed like a half hour one as you were so fresh when you got out the other end, the sound system was the best I've ever had in a car. Engine and gearbox are just magnificent.
  7. Wheels In Motion recommended on Mercedes forums also, it's difficult to get people who know what they are doing. I have a Mercedes C124 E220 (the last properly built Mercedes) and I have found a mechanic who I can trust locally, I liked him as when I rang with some problems he was prepared to talk for 15 minutes on the phone honestly about them, he then fixed them and looking over the car found stuff that had been missed on a £180 car inspection! Maybe I'm just getting old but I seem to come across people in all walks of life who just are not any good at their jobs.
  8. With todays fuels and oils and one of the best V8 engines ever built no need. More important would be oil and filter change more often than the usual schedule with lots of short journeys.
  9. Thanks it does look a wee bit expensive it would want to have had the timing belt etc to have been done.
  10. I'm looking for a Ls400 must be in good condition and have service history, would prefer Mk3 or 4. Remember to reply to this thread offering anything for sale you need to be a Gold Member otherwise it is against the terms and conditions of the LOC. It also applies to private messages offering articles/car for sale.
  11. Might be worth checking HT leads are within specs also rotor arms could be worn and check plugs whilst you're at it. Last time air filter was changed.
  12. I remember lots of complaints about this fellow back in 2004 when I had a Soarer, a beautiful car with the same engine as the LS400 which never emitted much more than a whisper. Having had a bite of the cherry I'm now after an LS400 to alleviate the stresses of the road.
  13. Don't know if anyone has used these but some good prices if genuine. http://www.amayama.com/
