  1. That’s gotta be a typo? If not I want some of whatever he’s/she’s taking 😂
  2. Have you considered filling the 10mm hole you drilled with one of these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393608951112?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=rcchmuuyqps&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=KnwGFylsR_a&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  3. Right ok. Though I can't help you find an independent specialist in your area (I am from Kent) the independent I would use down here if I had to charges £65ph + VAT to give you a ball park. Provided nothing gets broken during the strip down, you only need the new sealant + fresh load of coolant for parts. I'd be nervous doing any kinda cash deal as I would want a bill to prove the work. Couldn't tell you how long it takes, pretty sure the youtube videos might give you a clue. Sorry I am prob not helping your situation but do wish you luck matey
  4. My first port of call would def be calling around Lexus dealers to find a tech that has done the repair. I know it is 11 years old but sometimes you get cars with extended warranty in their 11th year - is yours? Worth a try with the dealership as its a manufacturer fault known in the owners community though perhaps not official...
  5. Agree with this, if it has FLSH and qualifies for RELAX, then no reason to favor main dealer as you can go straight to Lexus with any problems on day 1 anyway. However, get a finance quote from both (assuming you are not cash buyer) as @Arnett is right, Lexus might offer better APR and therefore cheaper deal over the 3,4,5 year term.
  6. Looks amazing! Have you also had the grill surround darkened or are they darker on the GSF (vs RCF)?
  7. That is a strong price tag Might do the one in Bournemouth a favour however, that has struggled to sell for a while.
  8. Is the group buy still going ahead? Not fussed if it’s not as actually I’m asking as I changed my mind about the most exp item. I know first hand it can be prove difficult to organise / round everything up.
  9. ES is smaller than GS - that surprises me as I think the ES looks huge and am quite keen to buy a GSF when I can. Your LS doesn't look that bit - of course it is in the flesh so perhaps you colour choice makes it so. Very nice car all the same, congrats.
  10. No problem, PM me with any Q's Such a shame you are right on the cusp of the new model for CarPlay....frustrating!
  11. Your LS looks tasty! Are they bigger or smaller than an ES? ES too big for me but this looks about right....
  12. I was going to chime in and suggest DIY but looks like you already decided against. Did I put the BeatSonic video in my thread too? I basically watched that and then did it myself. It's scary, but only what another man is going to do to your precious car anyway - this is how I convinced myself btw haha. The hardest part was liaising with the Chinese suppliers to get it setup correctly once I had plugged it all in.... If you change your mind I am not far (Kent) would be willing to help no problem.
  13. Hi all, Just thought I would let you all know I am booked onto the above track day - it would be great to see more than just my own L badge going around there this time LOL. I know there is a bit of a taboo around tracking our cars, but you have not enjoyed / fully experienced your F if you have not yet taken it on track!! Its ONLY Bedford Autodrome for me and here is why: It's quite a wide track based on an old airfield so also completely flat. The entire track is surround by flat grass run offs (some are even tarmac). No barriers and no concrete walls at all. Perfect for your first time, or perfectly risk free for every time. The company I booked with also includes a 20 min tuition session from a pro touring car driver. If you are interested in coming along, PM me and I will share details - just so I don't get into trouble advertising or advocating the track co. Cheers Bill
  14. Sounds like you might need a deep reach spanner also with a slot in it. Bit like a brake line spanner but with the bend in it for deeper reach. Or try the “difficult access sockets” at Halfords. They have a slot in them.
  15. That sensation you describe is why I ordered them. I also have a bit of weaving under hard braking...
  16. A few of the US guys moaning about squeak, but RR took them back and fitted to other cars without squeak. Its down to torqueing up correctly - or so Rafi explained. I have a set ready to go on, just going to ensure my mechanic follows the instructions to a T.
  17. How was fitment around the hub centre? I notice the Eibachs are 60mm vs H&R which are bang on 60.1mm... And you say you would probably get black if there was a next time?
  18. Have been looking into spacers for a few weeks. I was thinking 15mm all around. Agreed front is further under the arch than the rear, but then I thought "must be a good reason for that"....?
  19. If it were me, I would be looking for recommendations of a specialist tuning garage as they are most likely to have the hands on experience swapping headers, exhausts even engines etc.
  20. Put me down for the RR carbon boot spoiler pls. Product Code RCFSPLC001 Though that could dramatically push up shipping so let me know when you come to do the deal 👍🏼
