  1. Oil should come back down again. The struggle is getting the forecourts to adjust down as quickly as they adjust up 😡
  2. Indeed something I have been thinking about, however not letting it bother me as I am not in no rush to sell and am lucky enough to have plenty of 'equity' in my car if values were to fall somewhat. Agree it might put off some buyers, but not all. But for me, a small price to pay for the smile on my face 😄
  3. Could 100% feel the TVD at work last week on track. My brother (who was passenger) described it almost as a kinda pushing sensation as we powered out of corners. As driver, I could certainly feel the 'pull' around long corners which you'd normally expect to lose the rear. Unsure I would have paid for it if I bought the car new, but very grateful for the person that did haha.
  4. A few pics from the official photographer at Bedford Autodrome last week. Still getting over how good this car is!! If you haven't taken your F on the track yet, what are you waiting for!?
  5. I’d suggest taking the inside carpet liner off and giving the boot lid a good shake. From the sound you describe whatever it is will drop out 🤞🏼
  6. I had no idea they lasted so much longer. Does include the pads too?
  7. So long as they have enough meat left on them to see you through to the next owner lol Fuji Speedway all the way for me.....if money was no object.
  8. IMO the Quicksilver is not worth the price new. I owned one 2nd hand and was very happy with the price I paid vs what I got from it. It was epic in tunnels for sure! If you are going new, consider an Invidia. It's a full system for £1000 less. Unless you like the carbon tail pipes of the QS - which I didn't....
  9. I can relate to the "middle ground" thing mentioned above. The times I have the most fun in mine, I quickly remind myself that I need my license lol.... Other day, front of the lights about head onto the M25. Had loadsa fun climbing the slip road before having to brake to join the traffic safely lol. However, you will have the same issue driving any performance car on public roads - unless you are a complete loonatic which I am not.
  10. Very nice, facelift lights are a MUST on the ISF.
  11. That’s good news all good and back in your hands. Did they say anything about what caused it or advise on any preventative measures now you have it back?
  12. Great pictures, wont take long to sell. I think I'd have removed and sold the side skirts though, having removed the front and rear - which were damaged weren't they?
  13. Haha yes same car, must be. If you can get it, why not try.
  14. Agreed, good pictures are key! And pretty easy to do with iPhones etc nowadays.
  15. I think I worked out who this trader was some time ago but not 100% so won't call it out. It will sell, perhaps after a £1-2k drop, but as soon as that happens it'll go. Just wish I had £10k to PX my RCF. Squeezed my daughters car seat into the back of mine yesterday, it's doable but my god what a pain! lol
  16. Overly complex and heavy......doesn't sound like a Lexus to me 😉
  17. I am drooling already....THE best colour combo possible. Cant wait to see pics.
  18. You may want to repost this question in the relevant model group area: https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/forum/175-lexus-is-300h-is-250-is-200t-club/
  19. Perhaps just turn it off in the satellite menu?
  20. Looks smart, but only alongside all of the other "trimmings"..... ££££
  21. I do sometimes experience the dash button not responding - but never looked into that properly. Can't report any noises either....then again, I keep mine fixed in the up position most of the time.
  22. Morning all No I did not hear directly from any of the club team, so unfortunately haven’t taken it any further. I also need to step back from organising as my wife kindly reminded me last night that we fly out on a family holiday on April 10th…..Doh!! Something we booked after a couple of drinks during lockdown last year that I totally forgot about. Hopefully some of you will still be able to get together and enjoy the day out. Im also always up for a regional meet in the South of England.
  23. Pretty sure you can move the shifter using the manual release button without the need for any power. I moved my shifter back n forth when I had the dash out to fit apple car play. All the while my battery was disconnected, I’m sure of it.
  24. Agreed! I had the same car with GROM fitted too so enjoyed touch screen Apple CarPlay on a 2008 car! My mate with a 2015 Audi was super jealous ha.
