  1. I have also been invited to the RC stand. Hmmmm. I missed last year owing to a holiday I forgot about, well up for this one just dont know if I will go for the F stand or the RC stand.. Do you have a club stand already organised with them?
  2. I think if i had bought one of the German marque's and found myself paying out for repairs other than maintenance, it would have put me off owning a performance car altogether. I chat with people about what car I've got and initial reaction is "Oooh must be expensive to run"....well I guess more petrol and arguably premium price tyre's but that's about it in comparison to anyone else's daily driver.
  3. I have had 2 services since owning, including the big 60k one and diff oil not been done. I will make sure its done next and suggest trans too as it'll be 8 years old.
  4. Is diff oil in the service schedule - does anyone know? And if so, when/how often?
  5. @mr2ladand you managed to order all of these items before it costed £7,000,000 to ship a wheel nut from the US!! 😞
  6. It's likely all gone by this afternoon, fingers crossed.
  7. We got them in the UK too There’s a red one on autotrader right now
  8. You have: Lexus RCF Owners Community F UK Lexus RC Owners Lexus Owners Club UK The top 2 are prob 90% US members but still lots of help assistance and mod ideas I follow daily.
  9. Absolutely, with older children such as your grandchildren it would be much easier. I also put my over carpets on the seat whenever she goes in, which isnt very often to be honest. Looking forward to when she can get into her forward facing seat by herself lol.
  10. Yes it is still rear facing. I put her in the front with me if my wife doesnt come along. I think when she moves up to toddler chair (after xmas) it will be easier with ISO fix and forward face.
  11. I have the opposite issue with size. Love my RCF but struggle getting my daughter (14 months) in the back. Swap? lol
  12. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully not a labour intensive change.
  13. Agreed I am not sure the type of person either immune or perhaps ignorant to the current cost of living crisis would be the same type of person to drop £50k on a performance Lexus... more likely a German marque IMO. Someone sensible with their money and their choice of cars however, would be sensible and buy one of the other GSF's for £10k less lol
  14. Congratulations, welcome to the F club. Now get some miles on that car for the love of god LOL LOADS of content on here for questions, as well as a couple of decent Facebook groups. Enjoy
  15. I did think it was a little cheap initially - good move. Good luck with the sale, hopefully we will see you back again some time.
  16. I think if you are after louder than my video with a lot more drama then stick with your plan. If you would like something a little more discreet but still sounding great on tap, then perhaps look at the GT Haus with valved silencers?
  17. Haha thanks, I will never go back that's for sure. Invidia only make 1 system for the RCF, I believe they call it the Q300. Only a couple of us here in the UK have one as its imported from US. Well worth the wait. So vs the QS I find it much more 'refined'. There is not drone or hum/vibration through the cabin like I found with the QS at low revs. The QS was awesome when driving it hard, but pottering around town started to grate on me to be honest. Especially when trying to go up a hill at 30/40mph, that went right through me. The Invidia has the V8 burble as it drives past you at low revs, still makes people look - but its not AMG of course. High revs it does scream, very raspy sound. Will bang/clap on quick gear changes and of course off the limiter too :-). You will find the GT Haus quite a bit louder than that video of my Invidia.
  18. IMG_7342.MOV Here’s a little taster my friend filmed as I left his...
  19. Absolutely! I am told by US owners that the Invidia is the tamest of the aftermarket systems but that was what I was after. The OEM exhaust just has no drama about it AT ALL and for me there wasnt any point owning my first V8 without the soundtrack to go with it. The Invidia is the perfect balance of OEM and theatre. Epic cold starts, nice rumble on tick over, no drone at all but let's rip when opened up, love it! I actually had the QS rear boxes before hand and although great soundtrack, they just didnt seem to match up to the Lexus level of quality that the rest of the car does. The Invidia feels to me as if Lexus fitted it 🙂
  20. Just a service. I am yet to MOT with it fitted, but I will be going where my Brother used to work for that when it comes in March - just in case.
  21. I had mine serviced with Lexus this August with Invidia full system fitted, no problems at all. The video they do simply said "...and I can see a nice new stainless exhaust system has been fitted so no issues there" I enquired about Relax warranty and they said they will continue to cover all parts which are NOT aftermarket - but you are alikely aware of this having fitted the QS already... PS I have heard @hockeyedwards car in the flesh and it sounds epic! But yes, very loud 🙂
  22. Sweet. I think had the Orange not matched so well I was going to go satin metallic red, like the track edition. Gives the car so much more presence when parked up. Actually looks like it has something tasty under the bonnet now lol.
