    Oh dear so sorry to hear this. Very unusual for a performance Lexus to be targeted, difficult to do anything with on the black market too (one assumes). I hope the situation with insurance etc goes as smoothly as possible.

    Indeed, we are driving the entire B500 on our 3rd day. We head South from Stuttgart to pickup the bottom of the B500 to start heading North / North West back to the UK over couple more days.

    I requested an RX at my last service and another customer decided to crash their demo the day before my service 😞 Or so they said.... ha Had an electric UX twice with Sidcup now. Complete polar opposite of my car, but there we go haha

    Indeed they are very dark, but if you zoom in, you can see against the black calipers that they aren't quite black.

    Did you change the colour of the alloys during your ownership? Looks like a colour I am considering - dark chrome? Most of the latest F Sport models across the Lexus range come is in this colour. I have a seen an Azure blue RX with wheels this colour, so I know it's going to look great on my RCF. If it was you, can you tell me where you got them done please?

    Exactly, under the circumstances and spec of your car, they should've arranged a weekend demo for sure.

    Given you were without a car (unplanned) Friday night to Monday, a courtesy car should have been arranged and you shouldn't have had to ask....!

    Def not butter soft discs - they're OEM! ha Like you say, its lip service for the video to make it look like they're actually checking when they are not.

    Got the car back, no smell of petrol in the car as someone here reported. They said it took him all day as I asked them to balance my alloys too but they ran out of time. So perhaps he was new. In that vehicle safety check video they do, he says "slight lip on your discs, but in good working condition"..... I have to laugh as I fitted those brand new on Sunday so they are 4 days old LOL.

    Basically I want the bigger screen to lift the car closer towards the later models and upon doing some research I thought I might aswell introduce capability to install other apps, not just Apple CarPlay.

    Well it was the receptionist that told me they would need the car all day, seats out etc so.... I guess 6-8 bolts for both pieces of the rear seats then onto the fuel pipe. Could be 1.5-2hrs in theory.

    Dropped mine off this morning. Its an all day job, they do the replacement from above so all rear seats come out.

    I remember this car, you bought it about 3 weeks before I secured the cash to buy one myself. Would have been mine if not. A very good example and like the wheels a bit darker - nice!

    Just out of interest, did you have to stipulate that your car is RHD for the headers? Or are they all the same anyway? Shame its not for RCF, I would imagine they are not transferable.

    Indeed I should have Shoulda woulda coulda At the time, the only option I was aware of was the Armytrix and didn't/don't have that kinda money sitting around dammit 😞 If I get an adapter made, I will be able to swap the back boxes myself on the drive or even in the garage should I hire one on a track day - this is my plan.

    Hi all. Im considering the Lexion 10.25 Android screen. It’s quite pricey but ticking all the boxes. What would also help me to commit to the upgrade would be if I knew I could get a bit of cash back for my current car play solution as seen in this thread above. If anyone would be interested please send me a message or reply here. Cheers

    Sounds good. I might give it a go. I am trying to find someone to fabricate me an adapter so I can hook up my OEM back boxes onto the Invidia mid pipe. This way I can go back to stock volume and enjoy Bedford again 🙂

    What did you think of Donny? I’ve only been to Bedford as it feels safest with no barriers etc but my car is now too loud for Bedford 🙄

    Update: Called my broker again to discuss possible new policy. Spoke to a different advisor who wanted to check with my underwriter herself that they wont "upgrade" my current policy. They agreed to upgrade and not only that, totally free of charge! (Highway/Liverpool Victoria - Modified Car Policy)
