  1. No it seems to stick a lot more to the Soft99 than it did to the AG HD Wax.
  2. @rayaans Do you have any experience with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light? So far every Gtechniq product I have tried has been superb other than the G1 which I wish I had never used. I'm guessing Cystal Serum Light would be an alternative to Fusso Soft99? As they both seem to be Last Step Product? I cannot fault Fusso other than it seems to attract a lot of dust, it washes of very easily but it is quite a dusty area at work and despite the Fusso stopping virtually all dirt sticking to the car it does tend to be quite dusty after a couple of days after washing.
  3. This jogs a lot of my memory and sounds very similar to what I ended up doing
  4. If I could I would double like that, got me laughing out loud in the office at work!
  5. Looking at the images posted I would agreed my 60 plate IS250 rear view camera is sharper, definitely not HD but still a great picture and great for reversing with
  6. Very true i would agree certain dealerships will probably get preferential treatment based on who sells more cars no doubt. Maybe even down to how pro active the service manager is in a dealership
  7. Still a no go for me I'm guessing they are maybe looking after their loyal customers first rather than someone like me who services my own car and buys the service items from Toyota instead
  8. I will be buying future blades from ECP if they are the same I think, but I'm sorted for a good while as I was chatting to my Toyota parts guy and he kindly gave me a new 20" and 22" wiper today so I'm set, thanks for confirmation these are like OEM though
  9. If anyone needs some VW screenwash to get through a warranty scrutiny just pop round I have a shed full of the stuff, TPS give it away free to their "valued" customers
  10. Mines not a real F, just an F-Sport but I can safely say I have done a couple of mods yes!
  11. I would personally find it less convenient to have to deadlock my car every time just to get the mirrors folded in
  12. To be honesty about 50% of the wires in mine were different to the guide. Sounds like all you need to do though is find a strong feed the triggers when the lock button is pressed and swap that wire. I have no idea why but Lexus used so many different colours and looms on the IS depending on year, model and county! Time to get the multi-meter out!
  13. This may well be linked to the big paint warranty issue VW had on the FOX where they were coming from factory with such high concentrations screen wash it was stripping paint from the area between the washer jets and the screen where a bit would land on the bonnet on the paintwork. Someone at factory obviously forgot to water down the highly concentrated screen wash
  14. Yep this is a really handy feature, that "did I lock the car?" is easy answered with a quick glance at the mirrors
  15. Took a quick video to show it can do done with a PO-40 on just 1 click of the button, don't ask me which wires I used as I honestly cant remember and its the only mod I have done I haven't documented but it has works flawlessly for 18 months.
  16. I wired my PO-40 so it closes on the first lock press and opens on an unlock press. As mentioned pressing unlock first before locking keeps the mirrors out and visa versa for keeping the mirrors in when unlocking
  17. Yeah I could agree that basically this will invalidate anything to do with your steering and suspension but if a radiator hose sprung a leak I cant see why this would be invalidated just as an example. Its difficult as there are no rules as such it will depend how good your relationship is with your dealership as these sort of cases will come down to what they do and don't tell the manufacturer!
  18. Surely it would only invalidate your warranty on the lower control arm anyway, not that it matters as you wouldn't be asking for a replacement under warranty after doing this anyway? Toyota / Lexus would have a hard time not honouring a warranty or something completely unrelated just because you have upgraded some bushes on a lower arm unless they say this has only happened because of the increased strain caused by the harder bushes
  19. What type of coilovers have you fitted? Most types are not really designed with comfort in mind just outright performance, its a shame as a large amount of people fit coilovers for aesthetics not performance. No one really wants a harsh bumpy ride really feel for you there's nothing worse than ruining a lovely car with an awful ride
  20. The Hunter aligners are fantastic my boss did a lot of research before shelling out about 40k on our model. Its far superior to any of the others we have previously had! If anyone does have a camber issue I highly recommend the SPC camber adjustments for the front and rear. I purchased a set after fitting my Meister R's and they seem to have avoided tyre wear
  21. Yeah don't think leather conditioner can sort this type of wear unfortunately! It's a shame as they are lovely seats, I've been very tempted to have my seat re-trimmed in something a lot more hard wearing but with the same look, its literally the only thing on my car that doesn't look like its just come out of the showroom Presume Lexus have used a different type of leather on the F-Sport for some unknown reason other than possibly cost saving
  22. Perfect! Should be as sleek and tidy as my Genuine blades then, I'll give ECP's a bell in the morning and see what price they can do me some Denso ones at trade for
  23. It gets a bit confusing as Lexus call their accessories range F-Sport with items such as the F-Sport intake and the F-Sport exhaust, which are not actually fitted to the F-Sport as standard but accessories items available to all models. I'm not 100% sure the F-Sport exhaust was available in the UK, I believe it is a HKS system with a F-Sport logo engraved into the tip, listening to video from the US it sounds a lovely system but does come at the usual Lexus pricing
