    Right I get it, its very similar width and such, but the bit I struggle using on the IS is blocked off with lots of Hybrid battery gubbins on yours. In fairness for usable space although quite a lot smaller probably wouldn't make too much of a difference, not sure I could get the pram in there though!

    I knew I should have asked for a bit of advice from yourself before jumping in an buying further gtechniq products! I have a feeling I will need to remove this G1, also bought some Gtechniq G5 which is a much less permanent solution but sounds like it may work better for me Sounds like good advice on the wheel brush I have actually just taken the plunge and bought some genuine wheel woolies though, had £32 worth of Nectar vouchers to use so bought some on ebay for £45 delivered. Its very expensive but at least I know I'm getting something that will work... hopefully!

    Must say I am not far off the same situation with G1 to be honest, haven't given up quite yet until I have tried 1 more thing to rectify the issue which is apparently supposed to cure the issue "Bar Keepers Friend" but will update the tread on my view of Gtechniq and products once I have had chance to sort the screen!

    The IS is 1795mm width but the boot capacity is 378 litres which seems quite a bit bigger buts most of it is very difficult to use due to the shape constraints of a saloon car

    Thats Impressive! The boot looks possibly bigger than my IS! Any chance of a photo of the empty boot on the GS?

    My 2010 F-Sport doesn't have ML either. No cooled seats either just about everything else though

    The lads at work think its really funny to call my car an Avensis, but no apart from them taking the mick no one has every thought my car was an Avensis as far as I am aware

    Good, I'm glad it helped people realise the dangers of repairing/ incorrectly repairing cars! I too would never personally by a Cat D car and I know how to repair them correctly! Unless it was written off for something completely none safety related such as damage to an expensive exhaust system that can easily be replaced with a cheaper alternative that is safe. The airbag video completely changes the way you think about repairing cars!

    Agreed yeah I do have the tips but they I think all IS250's from first manufacture came with SS tips so nothing different about later models to early ones

    Thats quite impressive the way most people drive around here really doesn't allow for good fuel economy! Too many holiday makers who don't know the roads and brake every time a car comes the other way

    My 2010 F-Sport is made of mild steel, as far as I know none of the IS250's came with SS from factory

    Oh they are defiantly budget I was meaning that they are better than that, esure actually leave the majority of the claim handing to the repairer so if it is dealt with well it because you luckily got a good repairer!

    The same could be said for anything but if you can build up new skills and learn you can continue to use them in the future, materials required to refurbish an alloy wheel are relatively minimal compared to some jobs

    I will believe it when I see it replacing the passenger airbag without the dash out, I too hope its true though!

    hehe we can match you with the IS on the parking sensor but think only my rear view mirror dips not the door mirrors
