  1. I would agree that the F-Sport seats do wear quickly on the drivers bolster, this is the only wear on my car and was present from 30k when I bought my car! The lady who had owned the car before me and done that 30k mileage was only a very slight thing so think it must be a weak area on the F-Sport.
  2. Ideal sounds like a very well tuned setup then, this is something I would love to achieve on my 250, silence driving about normal, but a bit more beef under wide open throttle. Its a very difficult balance to achieve though!
  3. Thanks for clarification. Hmmmm well I could well be interested but it would be price dependant and funds are a little tight at the moment!
  4. Yeah think you will get 1 cheaper than £50! Theres a few people like me with mint ones in the shed where we have replaced them with the F-Sport carbon fibre knob!
  5. Any chance of a picture of the Denso blades out of the boxes chaps? I usually just replace the rubbers on my genuine wipers but at ECP trade prices it may actually be cheaper to get a new set of Denso wipers!
  6. Hmmmm that's worrying, cant honestly say I've had any issues myself, after lowering and fitting camber adjustments front and rear and getting everything into factory spec I haven't seen any adverse tyre wear. Is it mileage related i.e they start to wear after so many miles of usage that you have seen a trend of MOT's? Also any negative effects of these bushes? I'm guessing they are firmer / less forgiving? Don't want to spend money on something I don'd need but also don't want to face this issue a few months down the line especially running 19's at £130 a corner!
  7. Beautiful car and fantastic sounding exhaust setup. Does it not drive you insane on long motorway trips though? OR does it now suffer drone?
  8. Am i right to assume this is an ISF only issue?
  9. I wasn't for off with my it will be over £1000 worth of damage after all! Hope everything goes OK with the repairs and you are happy with it when you get it back, if anything isn't quite right feel free to post some pics and I will help with how to approach the resolution with them.
  10. It certainly is, I love it had it in a lot of my previous cars. Far superior in my opinion and I couldn't care less its its synthetic or made from unicorn hide personally myself
  11. Very strange that the same seats are ventilated in some countries, I personally really like the alcantara and the feel over the standard seats!
  12. Not quite true. 2010 onwards f sport seats are not ventilated
  13. Glad you are enjoying the 250 they really do take some beating for their money!
  14. Sounds like a bargain, have had awful experience with cheap components previously but good to hear there's still some decent stuff out there without paying for genuine
  15. Yeah I had heard something along these lines, however with the market not exact being huge and it now being quite a dated car cant imagine there will be huge numbers of aftermarket exhaust manufacturers jumping to develop a system
  16. Superb work I really like that! Looks very in keeping and great to see someone really having a go. I would honest say that looks better than the standard exhaust tips! Very impressed
  17. Yeah I have tried already doesn't seem to make a difference, will continue to give the screen a couple more doo's with BKF to make sure its 100% removed, then try cleaning the wipers a few times and see if ti makes a difference
  18. Wheel woolies have arrived today, they look very good, will get chance to try them out this weekend hopefully!
  19. Thanks for the info unpacking and extracting is no issue, but any chance of a clue as to where in the program folder the required DLL's need to be and which file needs to updated to the registry?
  20. Gave the screen another really good do with the Bar Keepers Friend and it does seem to have shifted it, at least there isn't much hydrophobic beading going on now at least, however the wipers are still smearing, basically the wipers go over and leave a haze that evaporates after about 2 seconds. I'm guessing some of the G1 is on the wiper blades! No idea how I am going to get it off them as they are brand new fitted spesifically with the G1, sounds like another £20 down the drain on top!
  21. I've tried it this evening not sure it's removed it though I'm thinking either trying it with the machine polisher. Or I'm told ceriglass or other cerium oxide based polishes should make light work of removal. Every other gtechniq product has been fantastic but wish I'd never gone near the G1!
  22. Scary expensive! About the cost of my first couple of cars values added together!
  23. You are probably right she wanted so fancy pants I-Candy thing! Once Imogen gets a bit bigger she can go in 1 of those cheap as chips tiny fold away prams, but the boss is already talking about having another 1 and as I don't get much of a say in these matters think I will need to make sure I have enough room for a pram and a travel system in the next couple of years!
