  1. Holy **** - £140.20 is 15% so 100% is over £900. Surely you arent paying £900 for 3 services!? It should be around £773 if I remember correctly
  2. Passenger memory is not worth it tbh. It's not really hard to move the seat from one position to the other as its electric anyway
  3. 10% would be pretty easy at this point in time. Few reasons for this - end of September is end of the quarter, so dealers want to sell cars. Also the new RX is landing so Lexus want to get rid of the older stock from their forecourts
  4. Nah its fine. I used to grease them and they had no issues in 8 years of ownership
  5. Agree. The pick of the range appears to be the Luxury which I'm assuming will sell like hotcakes. The F Sport is £3k extra for styling and AVS from what I can see
  6. Lexus safety sense is standard on SE so itll carry over to all models. It includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, pre-collision system, auto high beam and TSR which I cant remember
  7. You can get a GS450h F-Sport for £48k atm, beaten the Genesis in all reviews lol
  8. Awesome! lol I wonder if £69995 is GS-F price and they got confused?!
  9. Its technically a city car - taking a 1.8L with 136hp combined is expected to be dreadful on motorways so why bother?
  10. Unlikely. The NX has a 3 month waiting list due to low production volume. Loads of RX's are produced. I can't see the RX having a waiting list that long to be honest. Its too big for most people and you can see about 30mpg if driven normally. I bought my RX450h F-Sport with a 10% discount in June 2012 for £49650. In November 2012 my dealer was selling the same spec car with 6k miles on it registered a week later for £43k!! If you look at the RC-F for example, they cost £63k when new and a 4 month old one is listed for £53-54k. I spoke to a dealer and he said they were having trouble shifting them and I could have it for £52k. This was a £54k listed car with 5k miles on. I bet if I tried harder they'd just get rid of it for £50k. Im not too sure on P/X prices, Lexus Chester gave me £3.5k for my wife's Merc (its only worth £3k realistically) and the IS300h we bought was the cheapest around anyway. When I bought my RX450h, I P/Xed my RX300. Once again, they gave me £100 more than any car buying website and also gave me the £10% discount.
  11. Im not too sure, they appeal to different people due to the massive size of the RX. It's literally the same size as the updated Q7 now. The RX200T is starting from SE grade, no cloth seats so no S version I think. So, as Lexus Scotland was spot on with their 200t price, I think it's safe to assume that their £52995 figure for the RX450h F Sport holds true. That's £1000 more than now but I believe it's good value as it seems to be cheaper than nearly every large SUV out there. Having said that, £52995 + £610 (metallic paint) + £1000 (ML) + £1000 or so for the pan roof = £55605. All I can see is 6 month old demo and 5000 miles later it's going to be £43k
  12. Breaking news!! LEXUS STOKE have also confirmed the pricing of the RX and it is starting at £39995!! Leeds have messed up big time
  13. 1) Genuine Lexus mats can usually be found on ebay - dealers sell them at different prices sometimes - worth looking at. Having said that, you can buy replacement mats from almost anywhere and they'll be about the same quality but half the price. The good thing is that black mats are quite popular so everyone does them, not so with the beige and grey No idea on the other question though....
  14. I think the SE-L has air suspension and audio system as well as the kerb view camera - not really worth the premium but it depends on how much you value them. I thought all RX450h's had DAB?
  15. Great to know thanks! Ill try and have a crack at it on Wednesday - weather permitting as the car needs a full exterior detail - the interior is looking great - valeters did a good job but the outside has a few light scratches which have caught my attention and the PPF is doing my head in.
  16. I don't mind cleaning the glue residue - thats the easy part - i have plenty of experience with debadging but PPF is something I haven't removed as my previous RX had PPF on the bumper but it was wrapped around so no seals were visible I would have left it on and just cleaned it but its an eyesore as its sort of yellow and clashes against the bright white paintwork
  17. How did they take it off? I guess steamer might be safest. The dirt line on the IS is very prominent due to motorway tyre shine sling from valeters!
  18. seen that one but no one has actually mentioned how they did remove them.......if they did at all........
  19. OK listen carefully - Ivory seats get grubby but you won't know how bad they actually are until you clean them with some strong stuff. Get yourself the dodo juice leather kit or Dr Leather Advanced Cleaner - they've beaten everything in the comparisons I have done. Their performance is the same but sometimes dodo juice is hard to get hold of but is better value for money. Now - you can clean the leather and just leave it - modern leather has a protective coating on top which doesnt need conditioning - a conditioner will make the seat softer but will attract more dirt. You want a sealant - like the one in Dodo Juice leather kit which protects the leather, not conditions it. Gliptone is only good for periodic cleaning ie every 3 months or so. Dodo juice can do this too but you can leave it atleast 6 months before doing it again as they wont get as dirty or will wipe off with a damp cloth due to the sealant
  20. As per title, has anyone removed it? Its got black dust underneath it and looks like a massive scratch! Not to mention, its slightly yellow :O Anyone managed to remove it and got any stone-chips there at all? If so, what did you use - hairdryer, steamer or heat gun? Thanks
  21. Kind words Dean! Hmm, Ill be honest though, although I like that the paint is white to a point where it makes other cars look yellow or blue (take note Audi - Glacier white is blue, not white), I don't think it looks as nice overall as the Arctic Pearl or Sonic White!
  22. Orders are being taken in October so I think they'll release the price on, or soon after the 15th of September
  23. RX 450h has been improved in almost every way. Quality of the interior, quality of the exterior panels, gadgets etc. Sound deadening is superior to the 400h and it handles better. The 400h is more comfortable with serious waft ability but rolls around in corners. The 450h has a better balance imo. Both should be reliable but the 450h would be more so, mostly because it's younger so less chance of perishable items going eg bushings
  24. But Lexus pricing seems to be based on performance for the NX. Example - NX200T is faster and costs more. RX200t will be slower than the 450h so should be cheaper. A £40k RX would most likely be an SE version with higher grades being more expensive but itd be a good way to take sales. If you think logically, an RX200T would make zero sense at an equivalent or higher price to the 450h. It'll be slower and will guzzle more fuel and have greater road tax so putting a premium on it would mean no sales whatsoever. With the proposed pricing, private buyers who don't drive much may opt for the 200t to save some cash from the beginning
