  2. Welcome Nick, The auto-tilt mirrors are only found on cars that have memory seats and I don't think that's something that was available on the Advance trim level. Advance is a nice model to be looking for though. Strong standard equipment like Andrew mentioned, plus has the newer F-Sport style front bumper. Some great exterior/interior colour combos available on them too. Good luck with your search. Note that around 2012, the Advance also came with a few more changes like 18" wheels and the newer style xenon headlights with DRLs incorporated.

  4. I must admit, I also hate this type of system on indicators. I guess on a car you will eventually get used to it, but in certain scenarios they are useless. HGV drivers, for example, will regularly make use of flicking between left and right indicators to acknowledge being "flashed in" after an overtake.
  5. Yeah, that's for a full tyres-off and back to bare alloy job. These are the guys I use. They do a lot of work for the Porsche, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce etc dealerships in Edinburgh. https://werestorealloys.co.uk/what-we-do/alloy-restoration/
  6. Just to reiterate that £400 for a wheel refurb is steep, and that you should definitely shop around. I was just quoted £288 to restore the wheels I use during winter, which are 18".
  7. 48530-80506 is the part number as listed by Lexuspartsdirect, but they are over £200 each. Personally, I think I would be looking at something like Bilstein B6 as an alternative - considerably cheaper and have a reputation for being high quality.
  8. Lexus Swindon. I've ordered a fair amount from them recently and have nothing but praise. Use code LOVELEXUS to get free shipping on £100+ orders. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

  10. Usual regime for me is quite lengthy as I will usually spend at least an hour. I do the wheels first, then cover the car with snow foam (Bilt Hamber Auto foam) and go over the badges, door handles, fuel door, window rubbers etc with a detail brush whilst the foam dwells and does it's thing. Rinse off any remaining foam then 2 bucket wash with Autoglym UHD shampoo. Rinse again then I'll add some form of finishing product - either a quick detailer to double up as a drying aid, or if I have plenty of time available, I'll coat the car again with Gyeon Bathe + via foam lance, rinse it off then dry the car using a warm air blower. Finish up by dressing the tyres with Gyeon Tire.

  16. Total cost for me was under £450. 2x Remanufactured IS350 Calipers imported from rockauto.com - £187 GS450h discs, pads & shim kit- £210 The calipers incurred an import tax charge of about £40 IIRC. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

  20. I must admit, the G-Spyder aka Baransu wheels on my previous car were also immaculate before it was written-off. I believe they're made by Enkei , so maybe just better overall quality than the normal Lexus wheels. Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
