  1. Paint code can be found on the plate that's visible when the passenger door is open. The 3-digit code after C/TR. C being exterior colour. Do you definitely need the entire mirror? Because you can buy the outer shell separately - RX Mirror Cover
  2. Agreed. I don't notice it so much on my own car (silver), but I remember being shocked at the state of my sister's black BMW after I went over it with one of the clay mitts being mentioned in this topic. It was literally forced to polish the whole car afterwards.
  3. As well as the above, the window might simply be needing cleaned. Clean glass doesn't fog up as easily.
  4. With such a low mileage its doubtful any components are actually worn, or have been damaged somehow (eg: a dodgy brake disc change). The parking brake probably just needs adjusted. Adjustment is easy enough if you want to DIY - remove a rear wheel to reveal a rubber bung on the bell of the brake disc. Once you remove that, you can rotate the disc until the hole is roughly at 2 or 3 o'clock position to gain access to the adjuster, which is a cog wheel you can rotate with a flathead screwdriver. IIRC, you rotate the cog to the right to tighten the adjustment. Do this on both sides, but if the car is a recent purchase from a dealer....take it back and let them sort it.
  5. New filter and gasket alone is £100+ so that doesn't sound too bad if they are also included.

  7. The Bilsteins are likely to be a bit stiffer, or have less rebound than a standard shock, but they do state that the B6 is fine to use with normal springs. I guess, in theory the handling balance could be biased more towards oversteer characteristics with a stiffer rear end, but then wouldn't having new OEM fitted on the rear, paired with 10+ years old dampers on the front produce a similar experience?

  12. I get good results with Raceglaze Alcantara Cleaner, along with a soft bristle brush to rejuvenate the fibres. http://www.raceglaze.co.uk/car-care-interior/fabric-upholstery-cleaning/race-glaze-alcantara-leather-cleaner/ Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
  13. I used to buy V-Power on a regular basis when the price difference was less than 10p/litre, but recently it seems closer to 15-20p more expensive than regular unleaded. To be honest I don't notice any difference in performance, so for me it's not worth it. Especially during the winter when a lot of fuel is wasted de-fogging frozen windows etc. I do pour in a bottle of Redex now and again though whenever it's on sale (currently £2 in Tesco). 14. Just going off what US guys have posted on clublexus. The connector is a different shape apparently. I think ISF lights are plug & play though.
  15. They do, but you also need to change the wiring harness to the 2010+ one.
