Fair point Jeremy, but at the same time I don't really anticipate any issues. *knocks on wood* We're pretty much going to be on the motorway for about 95% of the journey, so it's highly unlikely for anyone to fall out of the convoy, unless they're driving really slow :P What I would suggest to all participants is to leave their headlights switched on, so it will be easier to keep track of the convoy.

I'm all pumped for tomorrow, looking forward to meet everyone! :) Here's a quick recap of the cruise/convoy tomorrow morning: Starts at Newport Pagnell services (between J14 and J15) at 9:00am The convoy will also stop by the truck stop at M1 J23 at 10:00am (map) There is another convoy meeting up at 10:30am at the lay-by on the A50, just after the junction from A518 (map) (thanks Lakeey/Ally :))

Interesting point, and I agree. But sometimes I wonder if the same can be said today, i.e. are they still maintaining the same margin?

Halfords sells a "European driving kit" that covers most if not all of the things that you require for driving in Europe. If you are driving through France to get to Spain, you will need a breathalyser kit, which is also included in the pack at Halfords. Alrighty then, Google Maps suggests that it will take us about 50 minutes to get from the Newport Pagnell services to the truck stop at M1 J23. Hi Tony, thanks for sharing :) . Just to take you up on that, I noticed that Mercedes-Benz also dial in aggressive camber change when the wheels are steered in most of their cars. In your experience, how does the front tyre wear compare to that of Lexus?

Does the IS300 have active suspension?

To Dinho, BenIS, and petayV8; there is a truck stop at M1 J23. Perhaps we could meet you guys there to join the convoy, en-route to Plank & Leggit? I'm giving mine a wash and wax on Friday, so it'll be fresh when it arrives at the Ace Cafe on Saturday and again at Plank & Leggit on Sunday :) (weather dependent also...)

good work PEPE! So I ran the numbers based on the stats that you provided... which brings the average age so far to 42.5484 years. A total of 31 people responded to this thread with their ages. (That said, I just turned 30 last month :( so the average is now more like 42.5806...)

Sounds good mate :) What I would suggest is to aim to arrive at the Newport Pagnell services at 9:00am, as Panya mentioned, and after a brief meet-and-greet with everyone we set off at 9:10am sharp? . Is it the one along the M1? Isn't it further up north from the exit to Plank & Leggit (J24)... or is Google Maps messing with me?
